Most of my experience is working in the industrial field companies that move product with fully automated equipment as well as man control systems. I have engineered and re-engineered equipment for operations. I can install as well as search for failures within a software program on equipment. I have experience in management and supervising employees. I have had to keep track of budgeting and cost control along with employee evaluation and parts use within the maintenance department. I maintained and repaired all electrical and mechanical equipment. I was involved with the engineering of parts and equipment for operations. I was also in charge of all the Safety programs while also ensuring that all PPE and equipment used was in a safe manner within in the maintenance/ engineering department. I was in charge of managing employees and time keeping along with being on a 24hr on call bases and would work over hours to support the operations department. I gained special training on some of the European equipment by attending courses with the engineering team involved in the design of this equipment. I followed all government rules related to this industry. I have passed all security clearance to be able to enter any location of operations and assist in the equipment repairs or the building during off hours for support. I was also in charge of maintaining the tablet and capsule machinery along with repairs on large granulation, heating mixers, conveyors, packaging equipment as well as the building HVAC repairs. During my time at Weider Nutrition I was involved in the cost saving program geared to reducing expenditures with the objective of maintaining quality and efficiency. I was able to cut cost of 10K a month to 5K on spare parts by fabricating existing parts or using outside machining sources with a better material, better run time while eliminating machine failure. During my time at Weider Nutrition I was given the opportunity to travel from California to the new company location in Utah, the greater Salt Lake area to help in setting up equipment for operations along with the building needs.
