● Conducted data-driven research, analysis, and reporting on economic, energy, and other development policies in Kosovo and Europe

● Developed an interactive dashboard with macroeconomic and financial data displaying ongoing trends and comparisons from different sources used to drive policy implications

● Preprocessed millions of trade data, renamed and categorized them and conducted a geospatial analysis. Estimated the effect of a trade tariff on prices. The results were cited by the New York Times. The analysis found that Kosovo’s trade tariff to protect local producers led to increases in trade deficit and an increase in prices for 5.3%.

● Used a logit model to estimate the spending behaviour of men and women as heads of households in Kosovo. According to the model, men in Kosovo as heads of households, compared to women, are likely to spend less on health (6 percentage points) and healthy eating (4.4 percentage points), and more on tobacco (7 percentage points).

● Co-authored papers with the third best international economic policy think-tank in the world, Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies, and the Expert Council of German Foundations for Integration and Migration in Germany

● Collected and interpreted data sets on labor markets in Kosovo and Germany, performed explanatory and predictive analysis on horizontal mismatch of skills, and internal forecasting in order to provide guidance for policy makers
