Description: Revenue recognition project goal is to build the Revenue data mart with a Revenue calculation engine to recognize the actual revenue. Revenue recognized is entity satisfying its promise to transfer services in a contract with a customer following the ASC 605 & 606 accounting standards. Revenue Recognition consist of different modules like Standalone Selling Price derivations, Contract Modification, Contract Treatments, Revenue Waterfall (contract asset/liability derivations), Total contract Value (opening balance calculation and adjustments), customer stratification and journal entries.
Responsibilities:
Involved in Requirement analysis with PWC business team.
Analyzed source to target mapping sheet for RMS and Reports.
Test data files are received from multiple databases and processed it through ETL and loaded to target database Redshift.

Description: The Facets 5.6 R4 upgrade project is to upgrade the current Facets 5.2 R8 claims processing system, utilizing multiple application groups for business processes and information management for Horizon BCBSNJ. As part of Testing, Core Facets features has been identified for Horizon BCBSNJ and Facets Upgrade has been tested & validated.
BCBSNJ is expanding its Medicare Advantage D-SNP product line and so increasing the number of D-SNP (Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans) members. These members are eligible to both Medicare and Medicaid plans. BCBSNJ currently has 50,000 D-SNP members and it is hoping to increase to 8, 00,000. The current process for full dual members, to adjudicate the D-SNP claim requires adjudicating the claim for the Medicare payment, and then again for the Medicaid payment. There are multiple areas has identified as bottlenecks where automation could provide time, effort, and accuracy benefits. The purpose is to automate the process to load D-SNP claims and apply the COBA calculation on them to get adjudicated.
Responsibilities:
Performed Preparation of Test Plans and Test Scenarios to meet business requirements.
Regression testing of existing functionalities are performed and validated to make sure no functionalities are negatively affected due to upgrade code movement.
Parallel Testing are performed to compare HOC2 Outcome with HOC3 Outcome.
Validated member load (834) and Provider load and confirm both are available in Facets.
Validation of 837 Institutional (Hospital) and Professional (Medical) claims and claim details are loaded into Facets and validated Claim payment and status.
Validation of D-SNP claim processing and COB Automation calculation applied to get adjudicated into FACETS.

Project 3: HEDIS Integration and Cornerstone May 2014 – Oct 2017

Description: The Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) is a set of standardized performance measures designed to ensure that purchasers and consumers have the information they need to reliably compare the performance of managed health care. HEDIS rates are designed to evaluate the effectiveness of a health plan’s ability to demonstrate an improvement in its preventive care and quality measures to plan’s members.
All HEDIS data collected by NCQA are maintained in a central database with controls to protect confidentiality. NCQA has a Measure Certification program for organizations that develop, license and sell HEDIS measures (Admin and Hybrid), P4P and other quality-measure reporting software that calculate numerators and denominators using administrative data sources.
Cornerstone was built with a vision to make a central repository and to provide a common platform for data intake and analysis for CPC Products. It serves line of business – Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial. To support the services of business, various data sets are loaded in Cornerstone.

Time Deposit (Tide) is one of the basic and essential products of a bank. Banks hold the Customers’ deposits for a fixed period of time and provide interest for the deposit amount. Banks offer a number of facilities such as linking deposits with Current Account or Savings Account, Automatic Rollover of deposits on maturity. The Tide module supports the following types of transactions:
Payments (SWIFT MESSAGE) - Standing Order
Standing Order is one of the commonly used utilities of any banking system. Customers to give instructions to the bank, which could be executed at periodical intervals specified by the customer. It supports Booking, Modification and Cancellation.
FTOUT
Cross Border funds transfer of funds to persons in different countries / regions across the world. The module covers fund transfer in both local and foreign currency through automatic routing mechanism and the transfer currency supported by SWIFT.
FTIN - Incoming funds transfer deals with the credits received by the Bank from remitters in different countries / regions across the world. The incoming funds transfer may be for its customers termed as Incoming Funds transfer – Customer.
