Skills Summary

Throughout the work experience I have had many opportunities to help create the best version of myself as well as learn many skills that will be useful throughout my life. Through working in restaurants, I have learned how important customer service is and how necessary it is to be polite and keep your customer happy at all times. Working as a Resident Assistant taught me many leadership skills as well as problem solving. I have always been a hard worker and always strive to better myself and help those around me. I am certified in alcohol safety, title 9 policies, as well as internet safety courses. I am passionate about people and enjoy being able to work with people and help them in whatever ways I can; I am a creative problem solver and love to think of new and efficient ways to solve problems and complete tasks. Outside of work my college journey has also taught me many skills with problem solving and real world problems.

Education

Louisiana State University Shreveport

I am currently a management and administration major with an emphasis on human resources. I have maintained a 3.4 GPA throughout my first three semesters of college. I am studying management in hopes to find a career in diversity and inclusion management.

Experience

Hooters/ March 2020-present.

As a hooter girl I am responsible for all guests to have an enjoyable dining experience. Since having this job, I have become a very fast and efficient worker and am able to multitask very well. This job as well as other jobs in the restaurant industry have taught me how important kindness is and how little compliments or just a smile can make all the difference.

Louisiana State University Baton Rouge/ August 2020- October 2020

Being a Resident Assistant for Louisiana State University has led me to become a very strong leader. I have learned that in order to be a good leader, and remain a good leader, it is not always about controlling but much rather helping. Being a leader is about compromise and communication.

Chilis / August 2019-January 2020

Serving at Chilis I was responsible for the guests that come into the restaurant. Serving guests has taught me the importance of having patience with everyone no matter the situation.
