Industrial microbiology

Physicochemical and microbial inhabitants of fermented drink palm wine. I was given the topic as a final year project, and i was able to successfully execute it by identifying the microbial flora, physicochemical properties, health benefits and economic importance of palm wine.

Instrumental method includes carrying various tests such as; urease test, catalase test, coagulase test, spore staining, temperature, alcohol content and other required tests.

OTHER EXPERIENCE

Extensive knowledge of petroleum microbiology.

Good ability in preparing spreadsheets and power point presentation. Experience in media preparation, isolating bacteria, acid fast staining, preparing dilutions and PCR preparation.
