Example of some the brands I designed for is Gunston 500, Rothmans July, MTN, PWC, SHELL, BP, Samsung and LG. Working in this field gave me insight into local and multinational, corporates and advertising agencies.
1999 – 2010
FINANCE MANAGER, compass group sa
Responsible for debtors, creditors, data capturing, and fleet control for KZN, Lesotho and Swaziland. Provided full support to operations in various regions. Managed a full set of accounts, bank reconciliation and upkeep of the general ledger. I started as a general administrator and was developed into a Finance manager over a period.
2010-2011
QUALITY AND SYSTEMS MANAGER, compass group sa
I was selected in 2010 to mobilize Chief Albert Luthuli Hospital. Managing of the corrective action reporting system and the cook-chill operating system which was the only facility in Kzn that had implemented the cook-chill system. Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers such as Rhodes, Bidvest, Unilever, Gourmet Fresh, Tiger Brands, Rainbow, RCL, Springbok Foods and Lusitania. Promoted to Projects manager in 2011 for the site.

I was selected in 2011 to assist with multiple sales proposal and contracts including Government tenders for 6 months.
2011-2014
PROJECTS MANAGER, FEDICS (DIVISION OF TSEBO)
Based at Mangosuthu University. Managed a staff compliment of 150. Overseeing of 7 outlets within the University. Servicing approximately 15000 students per day. Managed relationships with the SRC, Department of Education, Clients and customers. Handling of all procurement processes, negotiation of pricing, strike rates and settlement rebates. Collaborating with ABI, RCL Foods, Piemans.

My passion for food and people has kept me in the food service industry for 17 years. I have had exposure to various sectors within the hospitality industry. I have found that over the years I am able to engage with people of all cultures and backgrounds in a positive manner. I feel I have the right set of skills to develop in a sales and marketing role. I understand the dynamics of the catering industry and the challenges it brings. My operational experience within the food industry gives me an added advantage of knowing what customers truly want and need.
