10+ years’ experience in QA/QC activities, which involved in,

Studying Engineering drawings, Preparing-WPS, PQR, QAP.

Inspecting- Inward materials (Carbon, Alloy, Stainless steels) Plates, Pipes, Flanges, Pipe Fittings, Forgings.

Summary of Responsibilities during my Experience:

QA Activities:

Studying the customer specifications/code requirements before start of the job, identify the critical activities and formulating new SOP’s.

Making ITP/QCP for the Manufacturing items.

Worked on Customer complaint and make efforts to close the same.

Good exposure on measuring instruments and keep updating them for calibration.

Evaluating the vendors at supplier works by regular auditing and making performance

rating report.

QC Activities:

Stage / Final inspections like Long seam fit up, Circumferential seam fit up, Shell to nozzles fit up, Orientation of Shell nozzle Opening marking, Header opening marking, Trial Assembly, Inspection of Piping Components.

Monitoring of each product on the basis of relevant Quality control Plan as it passes through manufacturing process to verify compliance with code requirements and to timely execution of production.

Raising NC for deviate items and make efforts to closing the same.

Making PQR and WPS as per Project requirement and qualifying the welder.

Making welders performance and continuation sheet.

Inspection of Tube-to-Tube sheet expansion in Boiler, Condensers, Heat Exchangers Economizers etc.,

Witnessing Hydrostatic test, Pneumatic test and other Quality Assurance Tests.

Inspection of layouts, first off trial bends and Production bends.

Close monitoring the welders during welding.

Surface Preparation check after Sand Blasting, Grid Blasting and Painting.

Detecting various weld defects like LOP, Porosity, undercuts etc., and

Maintaining and Documenting all Stage wise Quality inspection reports in QMS/ISO formats.

Coordinating with Client /Third Party/Customer inspection agencies like Lloyds / TUV/ BV / CEIL /TECHNIP/ INTERTEK for their stage wise Witness points for production equipment’s as per applicable ITP/QCP.

Preparation and submission of Final documentation folders to the client.

As built the drawings after completion of equipments and submitting to Design Department.

Inward QC Stores Activities:

Inspecting the Raw materials (Carbon, High/Low Alloy, Stainless steels) Plates, Pipes, Flanges, Pipe Fittings, Forgings as per PTS/Code of Construction and making the Inspection report for the same.

Inspecting and witnessing the tests at Vendor/supplier works for fabricated job works like Shell rolling, Dished end forming, Casings, Ducting, Machining items, Structural works etc., Generating the Inspection report / Release note for clearance of material to Production / Dispatch as per applicable same to be offer to TPI/Client at vendor works
