consumption, losses & other monitoring devices. An energy efficient solution (Heat Pump) proposed to replace the existing system. A Heat Pump system designed and simulated through the HAP Software to obtain heating loads for every hour& week. The payback period for this system is found 6 months.

• Failure analysis on a radial ball bearing due to improper heat dissipation An experimental analysis carried on a 6201-ball bearing under different loads, speeds

& different temperatures to find bearing characteristics. A typical ball bearing and its environment has been modelled in CATIA and analysed; the maximum temperature found in the function of the rotational speed. Non- dimensional parameters are calculated theoretically and experimentally. This bearing parameter helpful for design of the bearings.

• Thermal and Economical Analysis of Parabolic concentrator with copper pipes for Desalination

A theoretical analysis done on the parabolic concentrator with tubular solar still. The copper tubes attached at the back of the concentrator extracts heat from the concentrator and preheats the water. The preheated water goes to the tubular solar still where it gets evaporated and yields pure water by condensation. Economic analysis done the concentrator based on the cost and yield of water it produces. The results showed that the setup can be useful when employing for 10 years. Advanced Computational Fluid Mechanics, Finite Element Methods, Renewable energy technology, Direct Energy Conversion System, Design & Analysis of Energy systems, Industrial Energy Conversion & Cryogenic Engineering.

• A two-week course on “Diagnosis, Repair & Maintenance of Diesel Engines” at Advanced Training Institute.

• A one-week course on “Fluid Mechanics & Numerical Approaches for non- linear boundary value problem “at NIT Calicut.

• A course on “Introduction to Programming with MATLAB” offered by Coursera.

• A course on “Introduction to HTML” offered by Coursera.

• A course on “Programming for everybody: Python” offered by Coursera. R Yekambaram
