Ensure that stores and shelves are stocked with the right types and quantities of items

Display, arrange, price, and rotate products in store.

Maintain store shelves by removing dated or damaged items

Duties:

Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.

Perform inventory evaluation tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock.

Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers.

Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; focusing on quantity discrepancies between stock and records.

Review warehousing quality issues and cleanliness of the warehouse in a timely manner.

Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record.

Check price rates purchases and returns as well as defective items and near expiry products to inform quality control decisions.

Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.

Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses.
