Accomplished and performance-driven professional with 25+ years of experience in coordination of all the aspects of large-scale construction projects such as structural concrete foundations, pipelines, bridges, dredging, reclamation, and other mechanical structures. The Petroleum & Chemical Projects that I have 16 years of oil/gas plant type experience in greenfield and brownfield construction.

Each project is different with the requirements unique unto itself. Each of which I am pleased to say, that I have successfully managed.

I have participated in the upstream planning on most of the projects and have been on the pre-qualification / selection committees for the sites and the contractors. I have participated in the pre-bid / bid evaluation teams and on construct-ability teams for civil, pipe, and structural.

I have been assigned as construction manager/superintendent/supervisor for the client, for a construction management team, and on a direct-hire project for the contractor. Each project I have been on has been held to and proven track of success in risk and cost control, high standard health, environmental and safety measurements, training and development, and quality plans/procedures, which I fully endorse and support. Skilled in organizing highly valued projects in a regulated environment and implementing the right execution process and control techniques to exceed organization expectations. Project sizes have varied in manpower supervised from 40 to over 500 men with their direct and indirect management. Each of these projects had multiple contractors, sub-contractors, and vendor representatives that required specific coordination and support.

I have been involved in all phases of these projects from their concept through and inclusive of start-up and commissioning.

An articulate communicator with fluency in English and Afrikaans, resulting in achieving shared visions and goals. Experience working in difficult locations (remote, foreign, arctic, etc.) Key Accomplishment/Scopes:

Involved in the SARENS movement of loading and unloading of Modules and PAR’s on the foundation

3GI Civil Underground (CUG) completion of foundation and 90% of electric cable buried just for pulling on/into the PAR’s and Modules during the installation. The reason is removed constraint with underground works with open trenches.

CaTRo: Cargo Offload Facility (COF) is the 1st project in the history of Tengiz Oil Field to receive an award for complete on Schedule and Budget. (Constructed in the Caspian Sea – Kazakhstan)

Construction of Temporary Dike/Bund walls around the Turning Basin, Nearshore Excavation, and Suitable/Unsuitable soil dike/bund walls from the excavation. Using 637,600 m3 from ditch excavation and borrow pits.

Construct 4.5km road access way for material delivery using material from borrow pit 350,000 m3.

Excavation of Turning Basin and 2.5km Near Shore Excavation complete in a safe way with difficult to weather and high sea level surge conditions.

A comprehensive constructability review of construction documents and procedures.

Assist the Company with site information to reply to Technical Queries raised by the Contractor.

Assist the Company with the interpretation of the design drawings, standards, and specifications.

Advise the home office of any changes on-site that may affect the design drawings issued for construction.

Comments on the design deliverables to identifying major errors and provide engineering solutions during progress meetings.

Attend weekly/monthly meetings to add-value engineering solutions to project tasks.

Coordinates with Contractor on-site with Productivity Progress Dashboard to accomplish daily progress to complete the daily targets or exceeding targets.

Work Face Planning (WFP): Working close to the WFP team to scope out the next section of the work pack to be performed as per schedule.

Facilitate the review of proposed design changes by the Consultant’s home office and inspect the implementation of approved design changes as required for certification.

Perform post-construction inspections as and when required by the Company Review and comment on Contractor’s Inspection Test Plans (ITP) as per SNiP’s and Ghost Standards

Sign-off the construction site diary for onsite inspections and tests identified in the ITP’s.

Project

New construction of the 3rd Generation Gas Injection Plant in the Tengiz Oil field to increase the oil pressures in oil wells to produce additional 25% oil per day raising more than 1 million barrels of oil daily. Control all the activities of management, engineering, implementation, coordination, and procurement to enhance the productivity of the project. Guide the selection of subcontractors and supplier's activities to achieve budgeted cost and quality. Prepare and submit reports to senior management of the company to display the progress of the project. Direct staff and organize management meetings for the smooth and efficient functioning of the project execution.

Key Scope:

Overseeing the construction of a $9.1-billion-dollar new 3rd Gas Injection Plant works. Managing contractors to construct foundations and pedestals and ensure they follow Company procedures and quality control to reduce the risk of construction errors. Maintaining compliance with scope requirements, ensuring all assigned works are completed according to schedule. Resolving issues on-site and derive solutions or Page 3 7

mitigation measures should delays be incurred. Conducting safety briefings and toolbox talks, monitoring, and enforcing compliance with HSE policies and procedures. Operate in and experience sour gas (high H2S content). Using Mini-Escape filters / AVON hoods and H2S gas monitoring devices. Involved in management of emergence drills and tabletop studies with major gas releases and riot situations. Leading by example and ensuring all work conducted complies with Quality and Site Safety requirements. Working closely with Work Face Planning teams and Material coordinator to establish the correct work packs for work to commence next.

Team Size: 2500 Staff & 17 Contractors · Project Scope: Trains 1 and 2, Sour Receiving Pits, 3GI Receiving Area, 3GI Utilities, MOA, 30,000m3 on Structural Concrete Foundation (Sub-Station, Transformers, and Deep Sumps), 7000 Concrete Piles Driving and Cropping to Correct Elevation, 100km Electrical Cabling, 130km Piping, Terrace Backfilling in Large Bulk Areas, Various Manholes, Valve Boxes, Chambers, Dimensional Control (Piping, Bearing, and Module Baseplates), and Erecting Structural Steel, Building Camp with Accommodation, Canteen, Spool Assembly Workshop, Painting workshop, Sand Blasting Shop, Mobile Maintenance, Production Area, and Communication Tower 50m Key Accomplishments:

Completed overall work as per the highest quality and within time, scope, and budgetary constraints.

Complete the MOA Structural Steel and start secondary steel and gain 5 weeks on the schedule.

Resolving large pedestal cover to reinforcement due to the constraints of the way the bars are bent.

Work closely with project controls on work coordination, planning, scheduling, changes, budgets, and cost, along with status updates and reporting.

Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate these to project teams for resolution.

Provide timely and accurate discipline progress and forecasting data to the Construction Superintendent and Construction Managers as requested.

Site surveillance and reporting of EPC construction progress in critical areas to support the construction superintendents and project managers against approved schedules and milestones.

Monitor and review general construction practices, including design control, document control, interface.

Identify potential bottlenecks and find solutions and cost-effective.

Performing and prioritize relatively complex tasks promptly.

Prepare Risk Mitigation to high-level tasks.

Provide additional site support at schedule critical areas as directed by management.

Project

Constructing an offloading facility 6km offshore in the Caspian Sea for the offloading of modules for the construction of FGP 3rd Generation Plant and Gas Injection Plant. Constructing port for modules arrived from other countries like South-Korea, Kazakhstan fabrication yard, Italy, etc was transported on the Caspian Sea and COF (Jetty) was used to offload modules and pipe racks. Construct consists out of dyke construction to safeguard excavation up to a depth of 10m in the Caspian Sea. Driving of sheet piles and concrete piles, Concrete structure. Office facility and administration buildings. Produced accurate assessments for project and site need to complete projects within the agreed budget and timeframe. Developed appropriate recommendations for daily activities, including resources management and construction progress for the CaTRo project. Acquired strategic initiatives for cost controlling of the site works to increase the profit of the company. Key Scope:

Constructing 4.5 km access road for material delivery using material from borrow pit 350,000 m3 and additional 2km to access Turning Basin excavation and dredging channel 2,5 km road access way.

Nearshore excavation required dry excavation with dewatering of channel while excavating and selected material going to storage areas.

Concrete foundations: Design Thermo concrete with Thermo heating sensors to measure temperature in concrete during the pour and curing time.

Collaborating with engineers to insulate the formwork for cold weather (-10 C and below) of pouring the concrete large foundation of 1.5m and 1.8m depth.

Overseeing the construction of a $350-million-dollar new Cargo Off Loading Facility (Port) works. The purpose of the CaTRo is to enable cargo delivery to various FGP Areas. The CaTRo comprises a marine channel ending in a marine vessel turning basin, a Cargo Offloading Facility (COF), and haul road to transport modules, connecting, among other places, the Cargo Storage Facility (CSF) with Tengiz. Managing contractors to construct earth temporary dykes for Turning Basin and Nearshore to retrieve backfill material for project requirements.

Overseeing the Near Shore Excavation from 63km to 65.5km mark what connects the dredging channel to the turning basin.

Excavation of the Turning Basin and Near Shore Excavation between 63km and 65.5km is to be undertaken in the “dry condition” the area to be excavated is to be surrounded by temporary ring dikes including dewatering to create a “dry” condition. The area to be excavated shall be protected by temporary ring dikes to prevent the sea from entering the excavation area during construction. Excavated materials from the Near Shore Excavation is to be used in the construction of the temporary ring dikes with the surplus being transported to the designated stockpile areas. The temporary ring dikes need to be connected to the temporary ring dikes of the turning basin, the temporary south ring dike of the turning basin and part of the stockpile area permanent ring dike that provides access to the stockpile will be available for exclusive use as a roadway for the

transportation of excavated material from the Near Shore Excavation to the stockpile areas. SOW Excavation: 1,859,078m3 Filling: 444,543 m3

Resolving issues on-site with bulging of sheet piles during the concrete pile's installation, due to restriction the material is not drilled and, but augur only started to push the sheet piles to bulge and pushing out of the ground.
