PMCM Consulting Engineers
Senior E&I Project Engineer (November 2015-March 2017) Assigned to Honeywell for the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation to upgrade control systems to waste water treatment facilities for their plants. Responsible for evaluating all their existing installations to incorporate existing and new I/O signals to Honeywell C300 cabinets. Review and evaluate existing control systems by field verifications and surveys. Due to the existing complexity of integrating existing system with hot cutover responsible for developing constructability installation plans and cutover procedures for keeping system online during implementation of new control systems. Responsibilities included the designing of marshaling cabinets to interface with Honeywell C300 cabinets. Design and specify fiber optic communication network for plant wide communication with central server room, local PCM’s and other external control systems to integrate Process Control System to central control room. Engineering and design, specify equipment and supervise installations for Eaton UPS systems for backup power for control room to consoles, central server system and local PCM’s (C300) control systems along with detailed design for supplying power to UPS systems.
