Professional Work Experience

Operations Center Technician (OCT) –FBI Newark Field Office Operations Center 6/19 - Present

Receive, analyze, report, and disseminate critical information during real-time FBI Operations and investigations supporting over 400 special agents and task force officers. Conduct complicated queries in more than 15 FBI database systems, 20 social media platforms, 6 other government systems, numerous public sources, and private industry systems. Locate historical data regarding a particular subject / topic and independently analyze the information to compile a profile of the subject matter. Assemble, collate, and process raw data from a variety of field reports, files, and other communications as well as Intelligence Community reports, commercial databases, interviews, and miscellaneous reference material.

Prioritize all incoming emergency and non-emergency communications identifying the appropriate level of response, determining any other critical information, and notifying respondents accordingly.

Maintain constant liaison with the emergency on-scene contact until official termination of the emergency situation or transfer to appropriate authority.

Perform crisis intervention with distraught emergency callers during high-risk situations, until appropriate emergency field units arrive on scene.

Maintain accountability, radio and telephonic contact with special agents while they conduct field operations in the Newark area of responsibility allowing for effective deconfliction.

Served as Company & Battalion Combat Operations Center (COC) Watch Officer, while deployed in Afghanistan and Iraq. Facilitated command and control over combat units during live combat engagements and expedited MEDIVACS, resupply, communication network management, and daily patrols, amid counterinsurgency, search and seizure, and national security operations.
