This position allowed me to learn so much about how law enforcement agencies operate. I am responsible for monitoring programs such as CAD, and RMS, as well as monitoring all activity occurring at the police department. Expanded my knowledge in using Microsoft office, and improved my typing skills. I gained knowledge and experience about monitoring and communicating efficiently on police radio channels. In addition to monitoring information from County on CAD to our officers when needed, I have the responsibility of supervising prisoners, keeping logs, answering phone calls, filing paperwork, creating and closing out police reports, while overall ensuring the efficiency and functionality of the department.
