Portable Low-Cost RC Controlled Personal Assistant Robot April 2020

• Designed and developed an articulated cost-effective robot for the elderly, which helps them in their daily activities using SolidWorks

• Robot is designed to move in any direction and to pick things from the floor and the things located at heights of 1200mm.

• Utilized mecanum wheels to achieve the movement of the robot in any direction.

• Slider and rail mechanism were used for the vertical lift of the robot. Obtained stability for the vertical lift by dividing the single rectangular frame into 3 frames of equal size and pulleys to lift the frame up for 1200mm height reachability.

• Performed hand and FEA calculations of different components used in the robot and to calculate the deflection of the vertical frames and the load at which the robot fails.

Design of Mass Flow Rate Monitor for Uranium Powder, Nuclear Fuel Complex, India March 2015

• The objective of this project was to design a Cost effective and highly sensitive Monitor to measure the mass flow rate of the uranium powder at any instant, in the process of converting dry Uranium powder to nuclear fuel pellets.

• Designed the Monitor using AUTOCAD following the Principle of Gravimetric method for Design for Manufacturability and considering zero human interaction with the nuclear reactive powder.

• The Design consisted use of the Knife Edge Gate Valve, Flanges, Level Sensor, Flanged Bellows, Thru Hole Load cells and Counterweights, following the AISI Standards.

• Used Design of Experiments Methodology to select appropriate Design components Study of DTH Hammer, KLR Industries- Hyderabad, India June 2014

• Conducted a research study and submitted a report on the design, manufacturing of the components and the assembly of the DTH Hammer, used in drilling equipment.
