Role & Responsibility

Involved inspection in the Pressure vessels, Tank, heat exchanger, Valves, Material inspection (pipe, fitting etc.) Structural material (beam, column etc.) and material lab test for Oil & Gas Industries in various vendor for project ADCO, SOCAR for the client Tecnimont in UAE and water wall panel, Header pipe, Drum, pipeline material for the Power Plant project.

Study & understand the project specification and requirement of the customer by review all the project document like specification, ITP, Purchase order and standard.

Preparation of the test procedure, ITP,WPS, and specification for the project requirement.

Material inspections (Dimensional, visual) and review of MTC as per material supply specification requirements for chemical and mechanical property for different material (CS, SS, ALLOY).

Inspection of weld joints fit up of material, stub pipe, flange and Sub-assembly as per the approved drawing and monitor the welding process during welding (Surveillance checks before, during and after welding) and also check the welder qualification, WPS, consumable, equipment calibration and review of document.

Witness & Ensure that all NDT inspection specified are carried out and the reports are reviewed as per the ITP. Review of Radiographs as per the specification & relevant codes of construction.

Monitoring PWHT operation, reviewing of charts and reports and ensure hardness after PWHT to confirm the adequacy of PWHT.

Review of test packs and Witness Hydro test/Pneumatic test and reviewing of the charts and reports.

Witnessing welding Procedure & performance qualification testing & PMI Test, Hardness Test and Ferrite measurement & Mechanical testing.

Witness of Blasting surface (slat, dust test )& Coating or painting inspection (MEK, adhesion test) and related material inspection test. Pickling and Passivation Inspection on SS tanks and Vessels.

Day to day activities (Resident) or RFI based inspection (call basis) Performed and reported to client through by prime4. Communicate if any deviation during inspection and proceed as per client advise and Issuing NCR for violation & closing the NCR before delivery.

Attain the review meeting and Reporting the weekly and monthly work detail to the manager.
