I had experience of managing critically ill patients in medical intensive care units, surgical intensive care units and advanced intensive thoracic units. I had a good exposure in handling the ‘state of art’ equipments and patient monitors available in critical care units. I have a good working knowledge of current generation ventilators and I am well accustomed to various modes of ventilation and weaning strategies.
I had good exposure in the anaesthetic management of wide spectrum of surgical procedures including adult and pediatric cardiac surgeries, renal transplantation, joint replacements, neurosurgery procedures like aneurysmal clipping, craniotomies,deep brain stimulation, awake craniotomy for functional neurosurgery, and management of high risk cardiac patients ( ASA 3 & 4) for laparotomy, and or laparoscopic procedures.
