MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

HEAT EXCHANGER, PIPING, WELDING, VESSEL Job Role & Responsibilities

●Stage wise, Internal In-Process Inspection

●Dealing with Inspection of Pressure Vessel such as

●Heat Exchangers : Pre Post & Hydro test inspection

●Drum, Vessels : Pre Post & Demister Pad Inspection Gasket Inspection for Piping, Valves & Manways.

Inspection on Receiving Raw Materials, Materials Verification, Fit-up, Visual Welding Inspection & Weld Traceability.

Feedback on Major Problems, Ensure Corrective Actions and Ensure Proactive Approach to Prevent Mistake.

●Familiar with General Arrangement Drawings, Details Fabrication & Piping Isometric & Instrumentation diagram / drawing / (P&ID) & Familiar with the documentation for given task like Fabrication, Fit-up, erection welding report and all documentation related for assigned projects with the help of MS excel other software.

●I have done the piping loops job like IWL (Anticipated work list) and also Loop identify as per our P&ID and ISOMETRIC.

●Knowledge of Welding process (SMAW, GTAW)

●Familiar with codes, specification (ASME, ASTM, API, AWS)

●Receiving inspection of all incoming materials and acceptance of material as per specification and requirements and check the identification and trace ability of materials then Prepare incoming Material Report (IMR)

●Preview the PO COPY and QAP for material inspection / identification by compare MTC with material specification and marking details.

●Visually checking and inspection, Dimensional inspection.

●Familiar with Material Inspection, dimensional inspection and documentation as per construction.

●Inspection of SS, CS, AS and all type of pipe, flange, elbow, reducer, tee, gasket, support and valve.

●To check the marking, cutting and edge preparation.

●To check the fit-up stages prior and confirm that Root gap, Root face, Bevel angle, including angle, mismatch and cleanliness of bevel surface and adjacent are within the acceptable limit.

●Fabrication, Erection, Testing, Maintenance and Pre-commissioning of all piping work and activities at site as per quality and safety standard formulated by client.

●Inspecting the proper alignment Weld fit-up of joints prior to root pass and visual inspection of final weld, conducting penetrate test on welding joints.

●Preparation and Review the procedure of WPS, PQR, WQT.

●To check the filler material / electrode condition as AWS CLASS SIZE.

●Carrying out the Welding inspection before, during and after welding operation as per approved test plan, relevant engineering drawing, international standard and project specification for welding quality as per ASTM.

●After all types of sequencing of inspection weather it May be fabrication erection or welding quality as per ASTM.

●Preparation of job procedure of pipe work.

●Prepare quality documents step wise and sequentially.

●To see the PRE-HEAT & PWHT requirements of joints and to witness during

PREHEAT/PWHT.

●To check the Interpass temperature and Electrical characteristics.

●Maintain files & records on all inspection issues, history cards etc.

●Attending daily meeting on site with client and sub-contractor.

●First of all check the thickness gauging of Exchanger, column, drum, Regenerator.

●After removal of tube bundle inspect each and every thing like shell, shell cover, tube bundle, tube sheet, baffle, tie rod, spacer plate, backing ring, channel cover, floating head floating cover, sacrificial anode, and done the job as per scope and according to out IWL of exchanger.

●Inspection the hydro testing like shell test & tube test as per scope of IWL.

●Internal & External inspection of exchanger.

●Preliminary inspection of Heat Exchanger.

●Inspection the face area of gasket.

●Inspection the weld joints of DP.

●Internal inspection of COLUMN, check of corrosion, erosion, grooving and pitting on shell, Top dome and internal surface of nozzle, check deflector plate, check TSR (Tray support ring), Thickness survey.

●Planning of NDT activities and review report.

●Prepare quality documents to every inspection stage.

●Familiar with radiographic interpretation of weld joints and penetration test reporting and documentation.

●Conduct the seminar daily and co-ordinate with supervisors how to weld as per ASME Standard.

●Witnessed and inspected the assembling, erection & fit up of pipe, pipe support, valves and flange.

●Making ISO drawing as per site condition and approval drawing.

●Planning and Coordinating QA / QC activities ensuring QC of the work accordingly to constructional requirement.

●Implementing QC Plan and procedure to provide the most efficient and effective Onsite Construction works.
