Their main customer focus lies with (FMCSA) Ford. They specialize in robotic trimming, sub-assembly of components and sequencing. Highlights of experience
Highlights as quality engineer
Successfully implemented Quality Management System which earned the organization an IATF Quality certification with only two minor quality observations
Improved the overall organization’s quality by 10% (reduction of quality defects rate)
Highlights as Production supervisor
Proactively identified and alleviated the process bottleneck (Trap station) and optimized the whole operational process, yielding an improved productivity by 13% (from production of 90 pcs/shift to 102 pcs/shift)
Established a company’s second operational plant (plastic recycling plant granulating HDPE plastic material)
Successfully supervised a productive team of 34 operators and assemblers for 2 years.
Highlights as Project head
Developed and engineered a new and improved material/product handling equipment as per the customer’s specifications (3D drawing of refurbished product transportation trolley).
Conducted an operations reporting training for the team leaders which involved extensive and competence use of Microsoft cools (MS Excel and MS Word), accomplishing an overall 75% of project success(3/4 competent trainees).
Highlights as an engineering designer
Designed and conceptualized a company’s new plant for a new business expansion deal (New production plant for new supply).
Developed new proposed workstation which seeks to improve the efficient use of operational resources, eliminates unnecessary and wasted movements, and improve the overall efficiency and productivity. Professional qualification

Researching and developing ideas for new products and operational systems
Use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to create detailed designs and specifications
Waste management (recycling facilities).
Comprehensive understanding of engineering and design principles
Development and maintenance of projects using Microsoft tools for information collection, compilation, analyses and reporting/presentation. Key Activities
Quality
Quality Alerts: Quality alerts are done occasionally when there are quality concerns raised by the customer (Ford). A quality alert must be raised to inform everyone concerned about the current quality state of our resources/ Equipment / Materials and should be up for 3 months.
Identifying faults, finding solutions to faults or lack of standards identified, implementing corrective measures and providing all necessary resources.
Develop PPAP documents for new product launch to ensure customer requirements are met
Coordinate pre-launch production trial run process monitoring
Participate in the development of Failure Mode and Effects analyses(FMEA)
Maintain control plans and FMEA throughout the product life
Facilitate the implementation of appropriate problem solving techniques for effective root cause analyses and successful action plan
Lead a team of the quality ( AITF) standards implementation
QR Record Keeping which includes a compilation of G8Ds, SCARS and Quality alerts. Supplier-Customer communication.
Resolve issues relating to quality, tolerances and materials that may be identified
Operations management
Reviewing production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
Designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades.
Designing control systems to minimize costs and production issues.
Developing design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel.
Preparing material and equipment lists, purchase orders, cost analyses, and estimated production costs.
Production Planning, forecasting and production review
Designing the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements.
Training staff for new processes and providing instructions and manuals.
Managing process documentation and preparing production reports.
Process Confirmations
Production reports: Analyses of Daily, Weekly and Monthly production reports which is presented in weekly review meetings.
Golden Hour Meetings: A golden hour meeting is an everyday shift-change over meetings where the preceding shift hands over to the next coming shift. In the meetings we discuss many issues e.g. Production, Quality, Safety, Environment (5s), Morale, etc.
Develop Standard Working Procedures
Plant Layout Improvements: As part of Kaizen, my daily activities include walking around the plant and identifying places that needs improvements. I write them down and present them to the management for project approval.
