• Experience of working for solving the field issues like cracks on blades using modal analysis, analyzing the Campbell diagram and performing Goodman assessment.

• Developed multiple APDL scripts/macros to reduce the repetitive work thereby reducing the lead time.

• Implementation of hand calculations related to FEA in the above work. Softwares used in above work: ANSYS Classic & Workbench.

• Experience in performing various meshing activities for complicated Gas turbine components using Hypermesh software. Knowledge of working on 2D/3D mesh morphing.

• Experience in performing crack propagation fracture lifing on rotors and risk assessment lifing for EB weld zones in DARWIN software.

• Experience in using Unigraphics NX software to understand the drawings of baseline and non-conformance models and perform validation on design models as per the inputs received from vendors.
