Duties and Responsibility

As a Quality Control Inspector

Keep control of Documents such as IFC Drawings, Project Specifications, ITP’s, Material Transmittal and Approved Method Statement.

Review IFC drawings & identify hold & witness point for the client in the Approved ITP’s.

Preparing checklist, Survey Reports, and Material Approval Data for the attachment of Inspection Request (RFI) for all completed works as per project/ client requirement.

Monitor and conduct internal inspection to all construction work and review all completed work for completeness and correctness to ensure it is accordance of the AFC Drawings, Approved Method of Statement and Project Specifications.

Monitor and inspect Field Density Test (FDT) on site by Nuclear Gauge (ASTM D2292).

Inspect the form works that shall be properly braced / tied together to maintain position and shape.

Inspect the formworks that shall be built to resist the pressure to which they will subject and to limit deflection to a practicable minimum with in specified tolerance.

Inspection for the placement of lean concrete and Structural Concrete to ensure the accurateness of its dimension, alignment, location and elevation as per AFC drawings.

Inspection for the placement of Structural Concrete to assure all reinforcements and embedded items are followed in accordance of the AFC Drawings and met the client specifications.

Checking & inspecting Concrete placement, Time delivery, Slump Test< Concrete Temperatures and concrete samples for comprehensive strength results as per specifications requirements.

Monitor & inspect concrete pouring time batch plant to site at the end of this pouring.

Inspection for the protective coating of the concrete ready for Dry Film Thickness (DFT) test and Pull-Off Test.

Checking & monitoring structural erections activities at site to ensure the quality as per project SPECS & approved drawings.

Check the dimensional & visual bolts settings of structural prior for grout pouring & release pipe erection activities.

Monitored & carried out inspection of alignment, plumpness, levelness, and sureness of all erected civil, structural & other structures.

Checking the quality works of all concrete repairs for civil works structure based on the approved work procedure implementation.

Inspection of quality work of grout activities on steel structures, such as rotating & static vessel equipment foundation.

Materials selection like ceramic, Inspection of all raw materials deliveries, mills certificates in proper handling as per required approved specifications.

Dealing with client to get approval concerning various types of Material selection like ceramic, false ceiling, gypsum board, bathroom fittings etc.

Performs site inspection in all structural, civil and architectural works as per project specification requirements.

Monitor quality control works and furnishes the required data on pre-concreting, post concrete survey report and remedial repair.

Ensure all materials to be used in construction, Laboratory and On-site Test Results and Survey Reports are strictly and properly documented as per project / client requirements.

Controlling and maintaining RFI’s and MDS.

Follow up material approvals.

Carry out internal audits as and when required.

Work with QA/QC manager o prepare & establish over-all plan for Quality Control.

Establish Quality Inspection Test Plan (ITP) based on the project scope of work.

Log book Entry from client will be reviewed and clear out in a timely manner.

Monitor site inspection activities to ensure that the project standards specifications related documents for QA/QC Dossier.

Submittal of QA/QC package (Dossier).

Conducting weekly meeting with QC Manager and discussing about site quality and finding the solution for any quality issues.

Attending weekly meeting with client.

Follow up all outstanding test reports and RFI’s.

Attending site walkthrough with construction people.

Conducting site surveillance inspection.

Attending Batching Plant Inspection with client.

Co-Coordinating with site engineers and area supervisors for the ongoing work and inspections.
