Accomplishments
Brought more than $40 million for infrastructure projects to Laredo, TX to improve transportation, thus, improving trade relations between the US, Mexico, Central and South America.
Reduced negative legislation and improved policies with positive impact by testifying to the Texas legislature. Policies included trade policies with NAFTA countries, immigration, economic development, housing, homeland security, and more.
Built a better community in Laredo, TX including starting a Habitat for Humanity chapter, advising and consulting with non-profit organizations, encouraged migrant workers to advocate for themselves and the education of their children, and recognized at different leadership forums at the national level for work with the Hispanic community.

Stewardship and Development Director
Empowered individuals to live as disciples and stewards of the Church by encouraging parishioners and the ministries to serve those in need throughout a seven-county region. Oversaw the project to renovate the San Agustin Cathedral which included raising $6M, budgeting, creating project timelines, and overseeing construction.
Raised more than $500,000 per year through the Catholic Sharing Appeal Campaign.
Supervised Grant Writing with more than $500,000 in grants awarded.
Won the national Diocesan Mission Advancement Video Award for Excellence in Stewardship at the International Catholic Stewardship Council (ICSC) Conference for directing, editing, and co-producing the video, “Love One Another.”
