From Dec 2018 to March 2020 – As Assistant Manager QA in an Industrial chain manufacturing unit – Renold Chain India Private Limited (Renold PLC Holdings - UK), an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007, API Spec Q1 certified (with API 7F Monogram) organization in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, India.

Co-Ordinator for certification audits (ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001:2015, AD 2000 Merkblatt W0, PED 2014/68/EU, ISO/IEC 17025:2005) and customer audits. Responsible for closure of non- conformities identified during the audits.

Working along with NPD team to modify / introduce procedures, work instructions during APQP stage as per the newly revised standards, customer specifications.

Interact with other departments, customers and suppliers on QA matters.

Handling customer complaints as part of CFT under Head of QC/QA guidance in identifying root cause & responsible for implementation of Correction & Corrective action.

Preparation & review of Control Plan & FMEA during APQP stage, and responsible for submission of PPAP documents to customers.

Preparation, review & revise NDE Procedures in accordance with various ASTM standards & Customer specifications for steel castings.

Preparation, review & revise WPS, PQR in accordance with ASME Section IX, EN, ISO Standards, Project specific requirements for various Cast Steel grades in SMAW process.

Responsible for qualification approvals like NORSOK & API 20A (compliance).

Review of Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) on monthly basis and take actions to sustain / reduce.

Conducting internal audits, identifying OFI & ensure timely closure of non-conformities with effective root cause analysis, corrections & corrective actions.

Implementing continual improvement activities in the manufacturing processes by walk through audits, internal audits, shop floor trainings, process trials to reduce wastages & cost.

Conducting Sub-Contractor & Supplier qualification audits & periodical re-evaluation based on the performance.

Reviewing the identified process wise risks, monitoring & executing the action plan to reduce occurrence, based on which CTQ & CTP parameters are identified.

Evaluating the processes of Melting, Molding and Heat treatment through SPC, and persons through MSA

(R&R) to avoid variations.

Monitoring & maintaining the calibration of measuring & testing equipment’s. Reviewing the suitability of equipment usage based on the errors observed in the calibration reports.

Steel Valve body & Accessories Castings, automotive engine components inspection as per customer drawings. Assembled Steel Valves (Gate, Globe & Check Valves as per API 600) inspection as per GAD.

Preparation, review of Valve Testing First Pass OK (FOK) reports & take actions to avoid recurrence.

Interpretation of MT, PT, RT results as per customer specifications & generation of NDE reports for steel parts.

Review of Material Test Certificates during final clearance of steel castings as per EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2.

Co-Ordinator for certification audits (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007, API Spec Q1) and customer audits. Responsible for implementation of system & effective closure of non-conformities identified during the audits.

Submission of quality reports using Quality tools to Top Management.
