Ensured welding process, current, amperage, voltage, heat input, gas flow rate, root pass & inter pass temperature, inter pass, hot & cover pass cleaning, weld size where meeting codes, standards, specification and client’s requirements.

Ensured base & filler materials were matching properly, dimensions were correct as per fabrication drawings, fit-ups were meet approved WPS, welder’s identification number was correct, welder was qualified for the specific weld joint, correct & approved WPS were using.

Ensured final welds were clean properly followed by hand/power brush for not missing defects on welds.

Ensure the welder identification was correct and correct WPS been used for the weld joint.

Ensure weld profiles were free of spatters, slags, under cuts, cold laps, crater cracks, tie-in on stop start, porosity, blow holes, cracks etc.

Ensured size of weld, weld reinforcement high, the width of the welds was meeting codes, standards, specifications & approved WPS.

Verification of Welding Machines for calibration and errors.

Witnessing Mechanical Testing For procedure and welder qualification.

Scheduling and coordination of inspection activities with client’s inspection team

Final Packing/ Pre-Shipment inspection and Coordination.

Coordination with clients /Consultants/contractor/sub-contractor.
