This project consists of 16.6 km of twin bored tunnels, 6 underground stations, 33 cross passages and 6 emergency exit shafts built at a depth of 20 meters. This project spans from Musheireb (Central Station) to Education City. This project is essential to complete for 2022 FIFA World Cup and is a key contributor to 2030 vision of Qatar. Worked as Quality Control Engineer at “Hampson Industries” - India, since July 2013 to December 2016 Hampson Industries is a subsidiary of Erstwhile Hampson, UK. It has a state-of-the-art 50,000 Sq.ft manufacturing centre-of-excellence, producing precision machined parts and sub-assemblies for Aerospace & Automotive sectors. Preparing the annual Quality Audit Program based on current and future project activities and maintaining the audit system database logs to record the status of all audits and associated actions.

Planning, scheduling and conducting system audits with internal, suppliers and subcontractors in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and liaise with the auditees to ensure the closure of Non-Conformances raised during audits.

Investigating the Non-Conformances, assessing the proposed corrective measures, monitoring the implementation of corrective measures and evaluating the adequacy of provided evidence to close-out the Non-Conformance report.

Reviewing the Method Statements, Material Submittals/ Approvals, Inspection Reports, ITPs, CSRs & other project documents when required and maintaining the centralized log for all QA/QC reports from different site offices.

Coordinating QC Engineers/ Inspectors at various sites and support them by responding to the technical queries, Inspection Reports (IR), Non-Conformances, Site Corrective Actions (SCAR) and in closure of defects/ de-snagging.

Carrying out site walkthroughs with PMC/ Client to verify the closure of defects/ snags and agreeing with the closure list in order to get the payment released and subsequently chasing site team for the closure of open items.

Implementing the payment event process in conjunction with the commercial and contracts department to ensure the payment for various milestones are released by submitting the required quality verification records which proves the completion of works complies with the requirements.

Reviewing and verifying the compliance of MEP/ Architectural subcontractor’s payment submissions as per QA/QC requirements & client’s payment definitions in order to get these submissions approved by QA manager.

Preparing and presenting the integrated weekly progress trackers from all sites with PMC (Project Management Consultants)/ Client and also participating the Subcontractors QA/QC weekly progress meetings.

Coordinating/ participating the meetings with all project disciplines to ensure the contractual project milestones are achieved and follow up concern person to close out the minutes of meeting (MOM) action items.

Interface coordination with other contractors of the project to ensure the streamlined strategic approach and providing Quality related functional supports to project-wide members at sites as well as at head office.

Developing the project training plan and organizing trainings for Quality related competencies.

Preparing the project hand-over QAQC documents and maintaining all database records as per Project Quality Plan.

Working independently on other duties assigned under the direct supervision of QA Manager and report directly to Project Director and Management Representatives where required and Coordinating with 20+ QC engineers & inspectors at different sites in various quality control activities.

Establishing Quality Objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement program on methods and procedures of day to day manufacturing operations within the organization.

Obtaining specifications from customer/ internal blueprints, mechanical drawings and interpreting GD & T.

Inspecting the finish, visual & other defects of the component by handling gauges, measuring instruments and Crack Testers. Determining the products if it is within the required tolerances by using Video Measuring Systems.

Responsible to evaluate the accuracy and precision of QC equipment by handling equipment calibration activities.
