HCL Advantasure – ETL Tester Richmond, VA, USA Team Size: 12 (September 2020 – Present)

Position: QA Test Analyst

Performed the role QA Test Analyst in EDPS/RAPS team which involves testing the claim flow of Professional and Institutional claims for various Blue Plans.

●Main role is to perform ETL testing in an Agile team of 12 members.

●Analyze and provide estimations for user stories during PI planning and grooming.

NASCO – Claims Benefits testing Atlanta, GA, USA Team Size: 12 (January 2019 – January 2020)

Position: QA Lead

Performed the role QA Lead for the Benefit testing team involving the testing of various Medical benefits of Professional, Institutional claims for for various Blue Plans with multitude of deliverables.

●Played the role of QA Lead from Onshore (Client Location) leading a team of 12 resources from offshore.

Position: QA Lead

Worked on Projects which involves Facets which is a Web based application for claim processing created in .NET. Facets is a fully-integrated system where the data from multiple user groups are housed in one platform. This reduces the need to go to different systems to view information for HCPs, Eligibility, Customers, etc. Facets is also used to locate and maintain HCP data. The system acts as a repository for all of the HCP information Cigna maintains. This information includes HCP demographics and contract information.

Pega was a new framework introduced in Cigna to handle AIMS claims. Project includes developing a new next generation claim engine to handle the new AIMS claim. The testing was done in agile methodology which includes PI’s and sprints with a team of 8 members including SA’s and BA’s.

●Played the role of QA Lead from Onshore (Client Location) leading a team of 6 resources from offshore.

●Performed the validation of Data Model, Source to target data validation for all the different claim transactions from all the claim systems (837 IB, Claims Adjudication, Claims Finalization, Claims Pricing, Claims Payment, Pended claims).

A Waterfall project to integrate a new Clinical Editing system (McKesson ClaimsXten) with the Power MHS (Power Managed Healthcare System) HMO based claim processing system. Testing was performed to test the interface between the ClaimsXten and PowerMHS.

●Played the role of Team Lead from Offshore leading a team of 4 resources.

●Configured the ClaimsXten rules and codes in PowerMHS and Processed claims (CMS1500 and UB04) for different clinical editing Audit types/Rules and verified if the request and response are received.

●Verified if the Audit type/rules are applied successfully and claims are modified as per the outcomes and validated the claims till payment.

●Troubleshoot the Nightly batch Failure and make corrections and perform online Batch execution whenever needed.

Worked for PowerMHS(Power Managed Healthcare System) a HMO based claim processing system, an AS400 based application for the Compliance project HIPAA 5010 to test the changes made to the Claims system to accept, process and store the EDI claims in 5010 format. Worked on the 837 OB, 276/277 transactions.

Played the role of Test Analyst from Offshore location along with a team of 20 resources.

Processed claims 837 in 5010 for different claim transactions and validated if the claim status records/transactions are created in correct format for all claims.

Actively participated in Test Designing, writing Test Scripts and Test Execution, defect reporting. Involved in Functional, GUI, Database validations, Regression testing and Defect Retesting.
