PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

2013 to May 2020 Dow Chemical

Hired in 2013

Assumed the zone lead position during the 2016 shutdown when zone lead was off. I was assigned to the reconstruction of CT-2000 during the 2106 shutdown as critical path. I was able to keep things going and job was completed before schedule. Also assisted in isolating/clearing and tagging steam systems, flare, condensate and TK/K-71A/B as well as permitting.

During day to day operations I have been the most experienced outside operator. I help with any task I am able to in all areas. Help the new hires with training.

Have safely and efficiently completed all task within my control.

Extensive knowledge of the plant helps to troubleshoot problems in the plant.

Having a mechanical background helps to complete maintenance task during timely and critical moments while maintaining safety as a priority.

October 2011-2013 Serco Pump And Repair

Hired for the Quality Control Position never had any kind of training. After two weeks of training I was released on my own to take over Quality Control over the Machine Shop, Millwright shop, and the Welding shop. It was there I learned how to use both I.D. and O.D. Micrometers. (0"-62" O.D. & I.D. mics) Also both Dial Calipers and Vernier Calipers.(0"-80") There were also the smaller things like depth micrometers, scales, how to find angles and O.D. of odd vanes impellers. After about a month on the job I was handed all control of Shipping and Recieving, putting me incharge of all 3 of the shops. I was tought how to ship UPS, Motor Freight, and Hot Shot. While doing both jobs at once was a bit of a challenge I always met my deadlines on the shipping end and on the Q.C. end.

2010-2011 Performance Contractors LLC., Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Experience in the field of pipe-fitting. Started as a helper and quickly moved to B-Class fitter. It was in that time I learned to rig and bull rig, reading issomatics and orthomatics and was certified through the company to operate up to 120’ man lift and 40' scissor lift. In learning to read the prints I was able to start fitting and making the necessary bolt-ups to finish out the task at hand. I learned that the safe way was always the best way to get the job done on the job as well as off the job. Even though it may take longer at times. I also learned to use a cutting torche, plasma cutter, and air arc gouger.

2008-2010 Scaffolding Rental & Erection Services LLC., Port Allen, Louisiana

Experience in the field of scaffold building. Was responsible for building, modifying, and the demo of scaffolds. Also inventory of materials incoming and outgoing from the job-site.

2006-2007(Part-time)

2007-2008(Full-time) Cajun Carts, Lafayette, Louisiana.

Performed maintenance and mechanical repairs on golf carts for company stock, customers, and rentals, as well as customizing used golf carts. Experienced work on both gas and electric powered vehicles. Also drove forklift to offload deliveries of parts and supplies and to move items around shop yard. Also sold parts and units as well as deliveries and pick ups.
