Drilled, 3000hp with top drive, offshore Platform rig. I was transferred as a Driller to the South Texas District upon start-up of the IRI 1200hp Flex Rig Program. Helped build (4) of the rigs, then drilled for Conoco on their Lo Bo Wells, South Texas.

Upon Completion at LSU, began working derricks immediately for 1 year. Drilled on N-45 Brewster double, National 80B for 1-1/2 yrs (Day-work and Turnkey jobs primarily in South Alabama) then was moved into the office until rigs sold to Grey Wolf. While in the office I was responsible for hiring rig personnel, putting together turnkey bids, contracts, helped oversee rig building, Sales. We had 12 Compound rigs in the Ark-LA-Tex-Al area (2,500' – 16,000'). 8 rigs on Turnkey/4 rigs on daywork.
