MANAGEMENT/LEADERSIP

I am currently the West Area Director at Boys & Girls Club managing 4 sites and 25 staff

I was Assistant Director and School Age Director from 2013-2020 at Christ The King Early Education Center. I made and maintained the schedule for 35 staff making sure classrooms were covered and teachers were aware of hours and positions.

I have worked with licensing on a number of occasions

I have ample experience in previous jobs as next in line of Authority or being the next to be in charge.

I have organized for 3 years CTK’s annual fundraisers including their Christmas in July brining in over 100 vendors

I am the Vice President on The TAEYC board

And a member at large on the KSAEYC board

I am a certified CPR/First Aid trainer through EMS safety.

I have been a co-leader on the Afterschool Coalition in Topeka Kansas

I am on the board for KSAEYC

I have planned and implemented our yearly Craft and Vendor show fundraiser.

I am also a PDS specialist for the CDA Council. This gives me the ability to observe those pursuing their CDA.

I also have experience with the CDA process and am able to help those pursuing their education towards obtaining their CDA.

March 2020-Present

West Area Director over 4 sites

I am responsible for organizing,staffing and managing 4 sites in the West area of USD 437/With the possibility of a 5th. I oversee the organization and planning of programs and making sure they are being implimneted. I hire and schedule trainings for staff and meet with them. I have taken the lead and organized our Dinner Dash Program during COVid-19 and have Co-Directed our Montara unit with scheduling of 25 staff, talking to parents, enrollment and the organizing of activities.

Christ The King Early Education Center

November 2013-March 2020

Assistant Director and Director over School age and Summer Camp.

I am responsible for work with the other management leaders with the daily operations of the center. I also oversee the school-age program. I Hire and maintain staff in the school-age program, make lesson plans, plan field trips and supervise field trips. I oversee buying the supplies for both the center and the school-age programs. I oversee helping staff with the process of obtaining their CDA, this included scheduling classes, meeting with them to help with their notebook, making sure that classes are taken and credit is applied. I am also responsible for scheduling for our 35 staff involving vacation and sick time off, coverage of classrooms and work hours.

TDC Little Exploreres

2007-2013

I was a lead Pre-K teacher and worked in the 2 -year-old room. I was also next in line of Authority for when the director was gone or on vacation. During that time I worked with parents, teacher and the community. I was responsible for calling in subs and work in the room if I needed to. I helped with the billing of accounts, worked with licensing if they showed up when the director was gone.

Worked in the lunchroom preparing and serving lunch.

NPL Construction

2005-2006

I was the secretary and greeted anyone that came to the office. I also performed their accounts receivable, I oversaw mailing items to the foremen that were stationed around Kansas. I was also in charge of ordering supplies.

Owned my own ChildCare

2000-2005

I was the owner of my own in-home childcare. I maintained, budgeted and managed the facility. I oversaw the lesson plans for the meals and the accounts.

ABC Learning Center

1990-1998

I started out in the 2-year-old room and then was moved to the preschool, kindergarten and school-age area. I oversaw the planning and implementing the school-age program during the summer and the afterschool throughout the school year. I oversaw the opening and closing of the facility and making sure we had coverage and calling in substitutes. I also helped with accounts and ordering of items.
