Williams Field Services

Engineering Supervisor, Ohio Valley Midstream, WV: April 2014 to June 2014:

I provided engineering support for commissioning of plant and field additions

Senior Operations Project Manager, Eastern Gulf of Mexico: January, 2013 to April 2014:

Providing operational support to the commissioning team for the startup of the Williams $800 MM Gulfstar floating production spar.

Manager of Operations and Maintenance, Eastern Gulf of Mexico: November, 2007 to January 2013

Mobile Bay Plant is a 690 MMSCFD Cryo plant, Canyon Station and Devils Tower are offshore production facilities, and 200+ miles of offshore gas gathering and crude oil gathering lines.

I provided leadership in reorganizing operations of Eastern Gulf after the departure of the previous manager. I organized operations around functional areas. I implemented a formalized training program for operator certification.

I provided leadership in championing the implementation of GPPM, a process plant maintenance performance model used to equate production efficiency with commodity prices. The program provided a tool to analyze exchanger fouling and a loss of efficiency in the plant’s turbo expander.

Participated with Environmental in formulating a path forward in answering an EPA 114 Request and EPA Compliance Order initiated for Mobile Bay Plant‘s flare and condensate storage. I was the point contact for the EPA in answering their questions.

Developed set of 30+ Specific and Measurable Goals in 2012 to align team to objectives of the business. Used these goals throughout the year in team meetings to measure progress and identify and correct roadblocks. Measured and tracked system reliability, plant gain/loss, operating expenses and environmental, safety and health objectives.

Area Manager, Discovery Producer Services, Larose Louisiana: January, 2002 to November 2007.

Larose Plant is a 600 MMSCFD Cryo Plant and Paradis Plant is a 35,000 BPD Fractionator and Discovery Gas Transmission is a 200+ mile network of gas gathering and transmission lines.

Received an Energy at Work Commendation for the turnaround of Discovery operations after Williams took over operatorship from Texaco. Headcount and energy consumption was reduced by right sizing operations and equipment to available production. Reliability of the operations was improved. Provided operations with a cash focus by aligning operations from the processing plant through the fractionator with one leader and training support.

Provided leadership to the Discovery team in planning and executing a major field and plant shutdown that met all objectives of project completion, maintaining production and having no injuries (Market Expansion Shutdown 6/2005.) I oversaw the management of Midstream Process Safety Element #3, Contractor Safety for two years.

Process Change Leader/Project Manager, Automation Team, FA2 Initiative: July, 2000 to January, 2002

Provided a focus on company’s effort to reduce operating costs through automation. Worked on 17 projects. Projects involved working with various stakeholders to find right project scopes. Looked at operational options to reduce costs and improve system reliability. Developed methodology to cost effectively scope a controls project for an existing plant and still maintain operations ownership of the process and participation. Earned 75% of available bonus potential.

Area Manager, High Plains District: July 1999 to July, 2000.

Composed of Strait Station (15,000 HP compressor station composed of Cooper GMV Compressors), Baker Plant (70 MMSCFD NGL/NRU/HRU Plant with 5000 HP of Recompression), the Dry Trail Plant (20 MMSCFD Ryan Holmes CO2 Extraction Plant), and 250 Miles of Gathering Pipelines and an additional 15,000 HP of compression t with 7000 Hp of refrigeration and recompression).

Helped provide leadership during consolidation of three facilities into one operating District. Worked with others to develop a reorganization plan for the District. This plan consolidated three maintenance and operations groups into one shared group. Minimized employee strife through open employee communications. Used performance evaluations and interview process to force rank employees during reductions. Used accountability meetings and maintenance tracking tool to focus on maintenance planning and employee development. Approximately $1,000,000/yr. was cut from the Operations budget for the three facilities without a loss of reliability or safety.
