I am submitting my resume for a possible position at your company. I am currently completing my 6-month internship at a 5-star property in the Karoo till the end of April where after I am relocating to Nelspruit and graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management. As a part of my educational studies and my current internship I have experience within the Hospitality Industry, and I believe that I can be an asset to your organization. I have learnt a lot during my 3 years of theoretical studies at Stenden which helped me to put my knowledge into practice during my internship and I believe that I am fully capable of completing the duties required.

As mentioned, I have experience within the Hospitality Industry as part of our studies entail working at MyPond Hotel in Port Alfred which is a 4-star hotel consisting of 27 rooms. At first year level I worked in 4 departments consisting of Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen and Front Office. Within my 2nd year I was a student supervisor within the Front Office & Kitchen department and in my 3rd year I was the student kitchen manager. During my internship I was working alongside the duty manager in the food & beverage department for two months. Afterwards started working with our General Manager, we were doing basic admin duties, HR duties along with doing the sales and marketing of the property. I have strong people skills and a passion for the industry. Although I am still young, I believe I can provide the necessary skills required.
