> Reports safety hazards and any health problems.
> Performs all procedures regarding Hemodialysis:
- Prepare dialysis machine for incoming patient.
- Assess site for better puncturing of access for AV Fistula/AV Graft.
- Dressing of catheters using sterile technique and aseptically AV Fistula/AV Graft.
- Close monitoring of patient on hemodialysis.
- Report any abnormality or complications to Head Nurse or to the Nephrologist.
- Care of the patient with hemodialysis complication/ electrolytes imbalance.
- Initiating and termination of dialysis.
- Terminal cleaning of dialysis machine and its external area.
- Weight taking pre and post dialysis.
