My name is Kolby Larsen and I’m the Creative Director at EKR. I develop and lead a highly effective design team at EKR, providing marketing and creative services to clients in Utah and across the country. While at EKR, I’ve helped large corporations, small businesses, and start-ups improve their branding and marketing efforts through creative solutions. I’ve worked directly with a wide variety of clients, including Nature’s Sunshine, Little Giant Ladders, Explore Utah Valley, Google, National Geographic, Gabb Wireless, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and many others. I continuously collaborate with designers, marketing directors, account managers, and C-Level employees to help take brands to the next level and get awesome results through a variety of design and strategy services.

• Lead creative team meetings to share ideas and bring actionable plans to fruition and coordinate project workloads.

• Lead and direct design and production teams for branding and web projects, creating unique designs within required timelines.

• Create logos, websites, illustrations, and other design collateral for a wide variety of clients.

• Review and approve the work of the design team for quality assurance.

• Preserve branding standards of assigned accounts while creating high-quality designs.

• Develop budgets, negotiated contracts, and quotes with the Business Development Manager and CEO to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.

• Implementation of improved work methods and

procedures to achieve agency objectives and improve the creative workflow.

• Collaborate with writers, designers, developers, brand- strategists, and project managers to successfully

accomplish daily work and projects.

• Consistently meet schedules and deadlines for all illustration and design projects.

• Provide creative services to individuals and businesses, including logo design, branding, illustration, UI/UX, videography, photography, and animation.

• Manage and improve Shopify and Squarespace websites.
