DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide advice, information, instruction on local HSE issues and assist in the application of HSE procedures.
Ensure that Risk Assessment for all potentially hazardous operations are developed and made known to the concerned personnel.
Conduct Site Visits, Inspections & Audits on periodical basis and intimate the management after analysis, an over-view on the effectiveness of implemented Safety Systems and requirement of any improvements to be made, if needed.
provide adequate training for site Management, Supervisors and their team and Sub-contractors as per scope of the HSE Plan
Giving induction training for new personals, Organize proper training programs and approve schedules based on the identified training needs.
Participate in Client s Central Safety Committees and function in liaise with both client and contractor to maintain the approved standards.
Investigate on near misses, accidents or incidents with site HSE officers and implementing control measures and reporting with written documents to project Management and records it.
Lead the Investigation team on all reported near-misses, incidents/ accidents; manage the follow-ups in ensuring all the proposed recommendations are being implemented.
HSE audits work being carried out with permit to work system and monitor whether site complies with companies HSE policy and HSE manual.
To maintain records and inspection & testing certificates of all the heavy equipment and tools.
Ensure emergency evacuation procedure known to all personnel s and conducting mock drill to ensure preparedness during an emergency situation.
Develop all the required documentation, operational checklists and reports for the HSE Management System to be compliant with ISO 45001 standards, including corrective and preventive measures
Co-ordinate with HSE officer for daily tool box talk training and describing safe system of work.
