6/17 – 12/20 Director of MFG Engineering Pridgeon and Clay Grand Rapids, MI

●Lead and oversee Internal Die Build, Internal Machine Build, Process Engineering, and Continuous Improvement departments.

●Responsible for capacity and capacity planning for four manufacturing sites. This included checking capacity for all quotes before going to a customer.

●Approved and helped design all quoted manufacturing processes.

●Approver for every step in the New Product Launch and Engineering Change process.

●Lead Cost Savings for the entire company, including idea generation, savings tracking and reporting out.

●Work with Program Launch Teams and R&D to develop manufacturing processes before products were awarded.

●Special Project - Value Stream Map the entire facility, determine how to split the business so that part could be moved to a new manufacturing location to open up room for future business. My team and I along with a lead Professor from the University of Michigan's Lean Manufacturing Program analyzed and value stream mapped over 7000 part numbers. Current and Future State maps were completed. Split the business based on three different models. Researched existing possible manufacturing site locations as well as building new. Weekly presentations and report outs to the executive team and owner.

●Lead, Develop and implement standard welding and assembly processes and equipment design for Engine and Exhaust System (EES) plants in NAO and Mexico.

●Manage the launch of all EES Products from quote to launch on the plant floor.
