A Professional Doctorate in Sport and Exercise Psychology student currently working as a performance consultant for a variety of clients and organisations as outlined below. I currently have a research focus in the development and application of expertise in high-performance people, teams and environments. Core personal attributes are strong relationship building skills, empathy, contextual awareness, resilience, work ethic and determination to inspire and support change in others. Education

Liverpool John Moores University – Professional Doctorate Sport and Exercise Psychology (BPS Stage 2) (2019-2022)

Started in January 2019 on a part-time basis, supervised by Dr. Martin Eubank, Dr. David Tod and Dr. Steve Ingham.

Modules I study include: Sport and Exercise Psychology Professional Practice, Planning Training in Sport and Exercise Psychology and Reflection in Sport and Exercise Psychology.

Currently conducting a scoping review on the development of support staff expertise in performance industries.

Awarded Associate Fellow of The Higher Education Academy in July 2020.

Liverpool John Moores University – MSc Sport Psychology (1st: 72%) (2017-2018)

My dissertation explored the psychosocial challenges faced by professional jockeys in the UK horseracing industry and was awarded a First-Class mark.

My placement was with Supporting Champions as Performance Development Assistant.

Liverpool John Moores University - BSc (Hons) Applied Sport Psychology (1st: 72%) (2014-2017)

My dissertation: “A Case Study of the Psychosocial Barriers faced by a Professional Female Footballer Throughout Her Migration to the UK” was awarded a First-Class mark.

Work Experience (Chronological Order)

Sheffield Hallam University – Lead Performance Analysis and Performance Psychology Practitioner (2019 - Current)

In my role at Sheffield Hallam University I have developed and implemented a performance analysis internship programme fit to support their performance squads. This has included recruiting interns and designing and delivering a professional development programme to advance their personal, professional and technical effectiveness whilst they deliver performance analysis services.

The role also includes monitoring and evaluating the programme whilst increasing collaborations between the multi-disciplinary team to increase sport science effectiveness across the university.

Delivery of performance psychology services at an individual, team and organisational level with athletes, coaches and support staff.

The Racing Foundation & Liverpool John Moores University – Research Assistant (Jockey Welfare and Lifestyle) (2019- Current)

Alongside Dr. Daniel Martin, I assist with data collection and analysis during his post-doctoral research on the influence trainers have on jockey welfare and lifestyle.

Delivering to and designing curriculum for BTEC Sport Science and undergraduate Sport and Exercise Science students, particularly on topics such as applied physiology, research methods, leadership, communication, transitions, work experience, sports psychology and current issues.

Cosmo International Football Academy - Football Coach and Performance Analyst (2008- Current)

Coaching 5-18-year olds football techniques centred on the company's philosophy. Sporadically operating as a coach and performance analyst on international coaching programmes in the UK and in Norway. In this time, we have had over 100 young footballers signed to professional clubs.

I also psychologically support a number of youth athletes in the transition in/out of academies and in migrating to the UK.

Supporting Champions – Performance Development Lead (2017-2019)

Prior to July 2019, I worked full-time at Supporting Champions before taking an associate role.

I also provide(d) performance psychology and personal development support to athletes and professionals in sport, business and education.

Lastly, I also developed and assisted in the delivery of industry relevant events, workshops and conferences. Whilst also fundamentally underpinning Supporting Champions business developments, content and systems with psychological science and data.

Liverpool Ladies FC – Voluntary Performance Analyst (2015-2018)

My role was to provide support to the head of performance analysis as required, which typically involved coding/filming match day and training games using Sports Code for team and individual analysis sessions, whilst also analysing opposition teams and players for match day purposes.

I directed and implemented a number of analysis and personal development projects.

My keen eye for detail, personal character, analytical and project management skills were highly valued by the staff and players for three years in training and matchday environments.
