Possess extensive experience in a hospital clinic based outpatient setting and performing examinations on inpatients. Express oneself in the proper setting by self-introduction and explanation of procedures/examinations to both patients and family members. Take the proper safety and hygiene protocol precautions within the hospital setting by using proper barriers when needed. Have the ability to properly transport patients from one department to another and moving a patient from a wheelchair to a bed using the proper ergonomically techniques.

Understand the process of scheduling appropriate vascular lab appointments, answering phones, faxing, filing paperwork, processing paperwork, enter vascular data into a computerized system, completing vascular reports, reporting results and communicating with nurses, physicians’ assistants, nurse practitioners, doctors, radiology techs, ultrasound techs, secretaries, and hospital staff.
