Banquets Ops/Audit Manager
Ensure that all revenue is captured and accounted for in the right revenue centers. Bringing a conclusion to all banquet check queries from clients, internal and external.
Responsible for the Scheduling, Time Editing and Vacation process for Banquet Operations.
Maintain and ensure policies and procedures of the Banquet Services Department is adhered to.
Function as Departmental liaison for the Banquet Services Department for the communication of information to other Divisions with the operations
(Absenteeism Report).
Provides analysis, recommendation, objective input relating to controls reports, guidelines and the implementation of departmental improvements for review by Sr. VP of Banquet Operations and Sr. Director of Banquet Services Assist with the reinforcement of developmental training programs for correct application and system functionality to improve the overall productivity of Banquet Services team to the company’s business goals. Maintain and update office procedure manual for processes and information systems. Updating of menus prices in Micros System. Oversee and manage the integrity of employee data i.e. schedules, employee’s personnel files.
Oversee the audit of Banquet Services reports.
Review, monitor and recommend changes in information workflow for the Department
Perform periodic audits of Banquet Services processes to ensure compliance with systems functionalities associated with approved policies and practices; making recommendations, where necessary to correct recognized deficiencies. Mitzie Archer
Keep abreast of current Banquet Services trends and issues. Assist with the recognition and reward programs management such as Employee of the month, Manager of the month, REACH program, ESI, Performance Appraisals, etc.
Oversee aspects of the scheduling relative to employee overtime, employee attendance and employee absences.
Manage and oversee the menu label process, distribution and inventory. Identify, implement and develop new ideas to ensure the integrity of Banquet Services reports for continued improvements.
Compile reports regarding breaches in policies and procedures, consistent errors in related area and communicate findings to VP of Banquet Services and/or Director of Banquet Services
Analyze and troubleshoot matters which affect the area and formulate an action plan for correction.
Meet with staff regarding their suggestions for process improvements for their designated areas and communicate to VP of Banquet Services and/or Director of Banquet Services
Assist in the planning, facilitation and execution of cross functional workshops and training throughout Banquet Operations (visitation of Departmental Lineup for Restaurants).

Group Billing Coordinator – Group Bills, Wedding Bills/Packages Attend Preconvention meetings to discuss accounting and billing issues. Assist clients with cash advance and return cash procedures. Daily review of clients to discuss accounting issues. Communication with Front Office Managers, Room Coordinators, Banqueting Managers and Conference Managers when the need arise. Ensure checks are posted on the master correctly.
Posting adjustment and miscellaneous.
Download/Transfer information from LMS system into Microsoft Excel programs.
Ensuring the final bill is accurate based on Delphi/Contractual agreement/Resume and Banquet event order.
Emailing and mailing of bills to clients
