The group is instructed to prepare plans for a project, the fictional DRIPPS, to install a new e-commerce system that will, amongst other things, include a website that will allow customers to browse and purchase items. I lead a team consisting of 3 members including myself. Assign different tasks fairly to each member to produce a Project Initiation Document based on how a fictional software organisation is building a new project. I was tasked to produce a Gantt chart for the duration of the project using the MS Project software. The rest of the tasks, e.g., Project Justification and Cash Flow, were divided equally by the rest of the members. A hard copy of the project was submitted as a requirement prior to the presentation.
Final Year Project
‘Perpetual Inventory System Using the Lazarus IDE and Elephant SQL (PostgreSQL)’. This project uniquely develops a cloud-based database desktop application using an alternative Integrated Development Environment to Delphi.
