Project:

Arrow Root Peeling Machine – The objective was to design and fabricate an equipment capable of peeling arrow root in higher quantities. It is a semi-automatic machine which is operated by a 2 HP motor.

Areca Nut De-husking Machine – The main objective was to design & fabricate an equipment to remove dry & wet husk from the crop. It is a semi-automatic machine which separates husk and nuts at a moderate capacity. This is operated by a 1 HP Electric Motor. Skills:

• Ensure that Qualified Welders, WPS & PQR are used to perform tasks and NDT (UT, RT, LT & MPI) requirements are fulfilled as per ITP.

• Inspection of raw material according to procurement order (P.O)/Project requirement and reviewing of mill test certificate (MTC).

• Stage wise inspections like.(fit up, directional orientation, Alignment, Joint preparation, root pass visual & NDT, Weld Visual, Final dimension & NDT) Inspection on welding for structural members and Fuel Tanks.

• Preparation of Fit up reports Weld visual Inspection reports, Hydro test reports, Test Packages, Punch list, NDT witness, ferrite test, PMI, Painting reports.

• Receiving RFI and attending inspections by coordinating with Clients.

• Witnessed, checked, monitor and inspect of hydro/pneumatic test pressure as per procedures codes and standards.

• Witnessing and conducting Testing like Salt Contamination (Bresel Patch Method and Elcometer 130), Surface Profile.

• Maintaining batch certificates for incoming materials for paints.

• Coordination with paint manufacture for technical queries.

• Coordination with Client Representative/Third party inspectors/Suppliers for inspection requirements of the project.

• Monitor the weather condition and checking the ambient Temperature, substrate temperature, dew point and relative humidity before and during the work and when necessary.

• Witnessing the Surface Preparation and paint mixing before coating application.

• Check Painting/Coating Application processes are carried out in accordance with Client approved procedures & specification. To ensure the Painting/Coating, Blasting as per the client specifications.
