A SYNOPSIS OF CURRENT COMPANY:

The annual gross transformer manufacturing Capacity is 150 Million KVA. BTW Group is compliant to ISO 9001, ISO14001 & ISO 45001, NABL Approved lab, IEC quality certification, the international management system certification.

CURRENT JOB PROFILE:

a) EHS Systems: - Developed EHS systems successfully. Manual SOPs, Work Instruction etc. as per the requirement and activities.

b) Legal/Statutory Compliance: To identify all applicable statutory requirements across the plant related to Environment, Health and Safety in various fronts. Maintain legal calendar, legal Register

& ensure 100% compliance. Dealing with factory inspector. Preparation &record keeping of legal forms for e.g. Form No-9.10, 11, for hoist and lift, Lifting tools and tackles. Accident reporting in form 21, Monitoring of work environment in form-37, Accident register in form-29 etc. Procedure for consent to operate and establish dealing with GPCB. c) Audits: Internal Audit carried out monthly to identify the hazards and risks involved in plant area and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions, internal auditor for ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 9001. Faced external audits of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001. Carried out daily walk through survey.

d) Operational Risk Management: Identification, Evaluation, Elimination & control of potential/ existing risk/hazards likely to cause injury to personnel & damage to machine/ equipment/building for Accident/Incident prevention & Total loss control. Co-ordination for internal/external audits. e) Fire Safety, Strategic Planning & new initiatives: Need assessment of Fire & Safety requirements for existing plant/expansion, Maintain firefighting equipment’s, Safety adequacy review of new equipment/installation, Design review of new machines f) Training: Training on EHS topics given to the employees, contractors and top management, Training calendar prepared according to requirement. Identify the job specific training for employees, Fire drill carried out weekly, Induction training given to new joiners. g) Integrated Management Systems- Exposure of working as a internal auditor for ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and independently developing all HSE systems, preparing documents and developing and implementation of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

h) Accident/Incident/Near Miss: Incident investigation and analysis with concerned department and HODs to prevent reoccurrence, Accident prevention programme carried out, Implemented Near miss reporting system and investigate all near miss to prevent major accidents. i) EHS Motivation: To encourage all the employees by means of Usage of PPE's, Safety Committee meeting, Safety day/week celebration, Safety award for participative management to elevate level of HSE standards.

j) Hygiene Practices- Conducting Noise, Illumination Monitoring etc. OTHER EHS ACTIVITES:

Issue & Monitor work permits (Hot work, Height work, Confined Space, Other critical works) daily, safety audit, conducting fire drill for employees, Safety committee meeting, Store’s Management for PPE’s (Inventory, Procurement, Distribution) etc. DETAILS OF PROJECT & TRAINING TAKEN:

1) Safety Project (5 Months):

Project work of Increasing Safety Awareness among various Industries at 3M India Ltd. Skills Used: Walkthrough Survey, Hazard Identification, Use of Hierarchy of control for various situation.

The project concept was to increase awareness mainly for personal safety. We have given training nearly in 130 various industry and deal with various situation. 2) Successfully completed training in EHS & FIRE department at Excel crop care Ltd, Dist. Bhavnagar.
