EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

SENIOR PETROPHYSICIST (MAJNOON OIL FIELD- IRAQ)

UNITED ENERGY GROUP - ANTON OIL CO. (SHELL PROJECT) JAN2018 – PRESENT

I was working as a Petrophysicist at Anton oil in Iraq, the formation areas including the

(Hartha, Khasib, Mishif, Ahmadi, Nhr Umar, Zubair, and Yammama) Formations.

Process, edit and manage well-log data, according to Shell standards and workflow

(As shell was the Operator for Majnoon oil field).

Worked with the geologist to plan, Acquire, QC, processing and interpreting core.

Perform detailed formation evaluation for all clastic (NhrUmar and Zubair) and carbonate reservoirs (Mishrif &Hartha) using the conventional and advanced logging tools on Techlog.

Carry out detailed formation evaluation for the tight and deep carbonate reservoir

(Yammama FM) using the conventional and advanced logging tools on Techlog.

Working with subsurface team to define the integrity status for all wells during operational phase and develop and carried out prioritized remedial plans to ensure integrity compliance.

Carry out quantitative cement evaluation using (CBL-VDL-CAST-USIT) on Techlog.

Used the MF Caliper log to check the effectiveness of the perforation zones in many wells, depth QC and combining with PLT, RST and Noise log to determine the flow rate and source of oil/water.

Planning, Witnessing and evaluating all cased hole logs (RST, HPT-Noise log, PLT, corrosion logs - MF Caliper).

Supervised wireline, LWD, perforation and production logging in Majnoon field.

Analysing, evaluating and describing formations while drilling, using cuttings, gas, formation evaluation measurement while drilling (FEMWD) and wireline data.

Recommended the Perforation zones for the new drilled wells, and added new Perforation zones for many wells in Surveillance program to increase oil production.

Review cement bond and corrosion logs and evaluate barrier envelop and production casing condition.

4

Participated in (65) wells and reservoir reviews incorporating subsurface data across disciplines (geology, reservoir engineering, production technology and Petrophysicist) to ensure optimised reservoir management and perforation. CHEVRON- JOINT OPERATION (WAFRA AREA-KUWAIT)

SENIOR PETROPHYSICIST (CONSULTANT)

OCT 2012 –DEC 2017

I worked as a Petrophysicist at Halliburton outsourced to Chevron, Joint Operations in Wafra area between Saudi Arabian Chevron SAC and Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) in complex carbonate, clastic, tight and heavy oil reservoirs.

Perform detailed formation evaluation in Geolog using the advanced logging tools in (Tayarat, 1St & 2nd Eocene heavy oil reservoirs and Mishrif, Wara, Burgan, Ratawi).

Evaluating (Marrat FM) Tight carbonate reservoir by using sonic permeability with NMR free fluid to identify the best perforation intervals to optimize oil production.

Evaluating Maastrichtian wells (TAYARAT FM), using the conventional and advanced data (SGR, Neu & Den, AIT, ECS, NMR, XPT) for complex lithology identification and in combination with NMR to minimize the water production in vertical and HZ wells.

Detecting and evaluating thin sand layers of Ahmadi shale in Arq-wells by using (3D induction resistivity- XPT and FMI) for anisotropy and facies analysis in thin beds.

Follow up and evaluating horizontal wells of 2nd Eocene for better well placement and evaluation.

Using (NMR) for determining heavy oil zone and integrating with ADT for determine movable oil zones.

Apply selective perforation method using NMR free fluid curve to produce the movable light oil.

Very good with LWD (EcoScope) witness, interpretation, and evaluations.

Process, edit and manage well-log data, according to Chevron standards.
