Gears & Shafts module

Job Responsibilities:

To ensure production & supply of gears & shafts to Transmission Assembly as per the requirement on day to day basis.

To monitor overall product quality levels thru in-process inspection, stage Inspection, customer returns & taking corrective actions to achieve quality targets.

To work on continous improvement techniques eg TPM, SUGGESTION SCHEME, SMALL GROUP ACTIVITIES etc. for controlling various MOP’S such as scrap cost per tractor, maintenance cost per tractor, tool cost per tractor etc.

To co-ordinate with MR Office ensuring fulfilment of system requirements for TS16949 related activities in Transmission PU .

Achievements:

Developed successfully low reverse speed Transmission in Escorts Ltd. for South Indian Tractor Market.

Awarded best Kaizen of the year in Shivam Autotech Ltd. In 2008.

Passed NCC ‘B’ and ‘C’ Certificates .

Attended “All India Trekking Expedition” in summer camp of NCC at SRINAGAR in 1986.
