OBJECTIVE

I am a self-motivated Mechanical Engineering experienced with mechanical maintenance at Oil and Gas Industry as maintenance engineer in oil refinery. Also, I had the chance to get the experience in Greenfield - steel fabrication facility as project engineer. Result driven, I am an accomplished problem solver with sound decision making skills, integrity, zest for challenges, exceptional negotiation abilities and demonstrated ability to build new territories and expand opportunities complemented with high-caliber qualifications.

WORK EXPERIENCE

1.Sr. Project Engineer: Sep. 2009 - Now a day. Arabian International company for steel structure [aic] RAK, UAE

AIC one of the biggest suppliers of steel structures companies in UAE and KSA, they have led many projects in fabrication and erection the steel structure

My responsibility is to follow 2 concepts, 1st: project goods delivery consisting follow up the project regarding the completion date and monitoring the activities path and overall schedule, in terms that the schedule is the only key of the success.

Starting from DWG’s studying and knowing the overall material requirement and gets them approved and arrange for substitution for nonstandard sections, raw material purchasing, date of starting fabrication “as milestone”, and shipment schedule and following other milestones,

Attending meeting, providing reports (weekly and monthly as per client request)

Coordinating with all concern departments to achieve the deliverable with swift bath or reducing the impact of delayed schedule.

2nd: Following the financial issues for commissioning directly with client as the Project Engineer is the focal point of contact with the client, [ raw material quantity reconciling and ordering, Progress invoices, Payments and collection, site instructions, and VCR’s-variation orders].

Following the safety induction reports against the fabrication and production progress related to the project, reports to be submitted to the client after QA/QC manager approval.

Attending client meeting for any critical requirements and routine progress,

Visiting and settling at the site for better coordinating with our fabrication facility and ensure that progress going on priority bases and last for commissioning issue.

I had finish project related to our client “TECNIMONT-main EPC contractor” to fabricate and delivered 23,000 tons of steel structures to HABSHAN – GASCO site / Abu Dhabi, also I handled the NBK – III steel part around 14000 tons, next Mega Project is Kuwait National Bank – New Head quarter.

Later on, lead a project for ALBA re innovation facility – [ Bahrain Aluminum smelter] the steel supply part from our Facility in RAK-UAE, also I’m responsible to coordinate our erection team at site location.

As team we have closed the supply of 22,000 tons of fabricated steel to our client SAMSUNG for the project ADNOC CRUDE FLEXIBILITY PROJECT by beginning of 2021

Currently we are closing 5.5K tons of supplying fabricated steel to Peru, TALARA refinery with our client COBRA.

2.Project Engineer: March 2007 – Sep. 2009 Global Process Systems - Abu Dhabi, UAE

GPS offers complete turnkey capability in the design, fabrication and supply Mobile offshore production units and its build, operates and maintains multi skid modular units.

I'm responsible for following up the project objectives starting from the documentation.

Studying the project specification to know the method statement, materials required bill of material and quality procedures.

Authorize the project program and ensure that all critical activities (freeze dates and manufacture release date) are scheduled and achieved and all required approvals been achieved.

Ensure all required materials have been ordered.

Ensuring the quality and safety tasks and identify the high-risk issues may occur during running project - structures assembly, and to be reported to the QA/QC manager thru weekly meeting.

Follow upon any technical issues with subcontractor, also following up the priorities issues to ensure they will be achieved in date.

Arrange the weekly and monthly reports and the project status, preparing the cost variations and commission for submittal and get the client approval, coordinate and following up with the site, reporting to the Service and Project Manager.

3.Mechanical engineer: Oct. 2004 –March 2007 Research, development and Planning Department – Centre of Ministry of oil - Baghdad, Iraq

Member of research team, to drive and develop both the downstream and upstream oil sector (in both south & north)

Member of team researches in feasibility studies (including project scheduling, planning, cost estimation and financing) mostly in pipeline and refineries schemes.

4.Maintenance mechanical engineer: Aug.2001 – Oct. 2004 Rotary mechanical maintenance dep. North Oil Refinery - Baiji “NOC” – Iraqi Oil Ministry.

In charge of maintenance of Rotary Machinery section at Oil & Gas sector.

This dep. deals with all rotary equipment, Fans (at cooling towers), turbines (steam & gas), compressors including heavy duty Compressors of Hydrogen (up to 150 bar) & multistage centrifugal and reciprocating pumps (as horizontal and vertical pumps). Electrical installation for the rotary equipment drivers.

And for the stationary equipment in boiler, heat exchangers, fittings

Our responsibility on this area including fixing and monitoring the safety factors as all products are instantly flammable, as 1st hour routine for rescue, checking and inspection all areas related to my unit, inspections include PP of staff and hazardous specs for equipment, to be reported to unit in charge person, CC to safety manager.
