Research Experience

Senior Research Officer and Medical Coordinator: In a multi-centric randomized double-blind drug trial for Glaucoma in POAG. A total of 100 subjects were finally randomized and followed up. Oct’02-Sept’03.

Attended a 5 days training session on this research project in CMC, (June 2004).

The Pseudoexfoliation Syndrome (PXF) in POAG of PRIMARY AND SECONDARY Aetiologies. About 25 subjects with glaucoma of different aetiologies, were evaluated for the presence of the PXF: gonioscopy, perimetry, cup/disc ratio estimating, among others. Done during the junior residency in Ophthalmology. (Jun’96-Mar’99)
