Oversees accounts payable and accounts receivable daily, weekly, and monthly accounting reports through Excel spreadsheet ledger. Post insurance, self-pay payments & Workman’s Comp payments to accounts. Handle petty cash functions from electronic transactions. Prepare claims to be sent to BCBS, Cigna, UHC, etc. Knows how to identify EDI file issues. Works with accounts receivable to ensure prompt application of deposits and to ensure prompt payment of vendor invoices by reviewing vendor statements. Resolve errors that prevent the claims from being submitted. Performs other duties as assigned.
