Production Planning & Control:

Supervising production scheduling tasks including planning, control & troubleshooting for achieving the planned periodic schedules and recovery of production loss.

Coordinating with the other departments such as production, quality control, stores, engineering, etc. for smooth functioning and accomplishing production as per customers’ requirement & organisational guidelines.

Reviewing periodic capacity constraints with respect to cumulative customer requirement & sharing them with the management for solution.

Planning, scheduling & Monitoring of proposed ECNs in production in coordination with engineering keeping in view customer delivery target.

Vendor Development & Management:

Developing existing & new vendors for supply of sheet metal parts as per project / purchase requirement.

Finalizing purchase orders and scheduling and following up with vendors for supply of M/P components.

Evaluating & negotiating with vendors for price & various other terms & conditions for M/P Supplies.

Assessing the performance of the suppliers based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, timely delivery, quantity adherence, packing conformance, credit terms, etc.

Stores & Inventory Management:

Overseeing stores management activities like receipts, storage, issues and disposition as well as management of supply chain.

Implementing innovative warehousing like Just in time, First in First out services to increase inventory visibility and reducing total cost and cycle time.

Assessing physical layout of warehouse/ stores for storage of materials & consumables and ensuring smooth accounting & issue of material to production lines.

Physical stock taking on regular intervals to minimise variations.

Analyzing & evaluating abnormal inventory situation & informing & assisting plants in reducing and controlling inventory.

Packing & Logistics Management:

Comparing & finalising transportation service provider by deciding best trade-off between cost & service.

Overseeing daily dispatch of material to customers as per customer delivery plan & ensuring delivery adherence.

Monitoring effective utilisation of truck capacity to optimise logistics cost.

Developing of packing (Trolley & Bins), getting internal & customer approval & implement in mass production.
