(AEBS)

The AEB System consists of an Ultrasonic Sensor to detect the upcoming Obstacles. An Arduino is placed in the vehicle that simulates a microcontroller that takes the input from the sensor, a speedometer, and a device that measures braking force.

Depending on the code supplied and the inputs, it either sends a warning LED and alarm or activates the AEBS piston. This Project was Simulated in TinkerCad Software.

Braking Force and Wheel speed wrt to time graph was also calculated using MATLAB software The Proximity Sensor System consists of a proximity sensor attached to the rear part of the vehicle. The Arduino simulates another microcontroller that gets the input from the sensor and activates a buzzer and LED light to warn the driver. This Project was simulated On Tinker Cad

ARTHA 1.O - Human Powered Vehicle A human-powered vehicle designed and manufactured for the ASME Efest-Asia Pacific 2020 human- powered vehicle challenge. It was fitted with a rollover protection system(RPS) which reduces the chances of death of falling by up to a third. These are a lightweight,hoop-like mechanism that prevents riders from becoming trapped and crushed in a rollover. A rare wheel drive tricycle was being designed which aims to maximize the speed and lower down the drag which was to be used for the competition. In HPV rider sits in a recumbent position that is in the laid-back position. Apart from alleviating problems like back pain saddle sore etc, this position is optimum for riding a bicycle as there is maximum utilization of muscle strength making it more comfortable to ride with an aerodynamic advantage over an upright position. In the controlled conditions, in our campus, we have reached 40 km/hr and the theoretical speed limit that we had to come up with was 42 km/hr.

Currently Designing new type of design for competition. The main concept behind the Arduino based Smartphone Charging Controller is very simple. Set the time for which you wish to charge your mobile phone. Once the time is reached, turn off the power supply to the charger. For example, you have set the charging time as 2 hours (maybe based on the previous observation or by mathematical calculations). The power to the charger is turned on with the help of a relay and the timer begins. Your mobile phone gets charged for the next two hours and when the countdown is reached to the 2-hour mark, the relay is turned off and as a result, the power supply to the charger is also cutoff.
