JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITY :

*Organize, monitor and manage cargo import & export movements via road, sea and air to and from

different countries such as Europe, Middle East,Asia and the USA

*Organize and manage projects operations such as; importations of materials, customs clearance

and transportation of general cargo, containerized, break-bulks and heavy lift for AREVA Qatar

Phase 8 Project in the installation of Kahramas Qatar Power Transmission System expansions,

Tekfen / QAPCO LDPE3 Project, Leighton Contracting.

*Organize and manage importations and exportations of general cargo for Tesmec Middle East

suppliers that are coming by road freight from other GCC countries and sea freight that are

coming from and European countries

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITY

*Coordinated with our clients suppliers the shipment schedules, booking, and pick up date

*Provide the customers with their import/export documentary requirements such as BL,

commercial invoice, packing list, Certificate of Origin, legalization and Chamber attestation,

computation and submission of Customs Duty Exemption.

*Coordinate and assist clients for EPC applications’ filing and approval for their hazardous chemical

*Coordinate and assist customers for ICT/ Qtel applications’ filing and approval for their for

various telecommunications equipments

*Coordinate and provide clients with updated status of the shipments by providing vessels

and flight schedules, time table and connections for shipments routing

*Compute the accurate customs duty, legalization fees, and handling based on the CCI Tariff

*Process delivery order and other shipping documents from the shipping line

*Consolidate and validate all accurate documents for customs clearance.

*Coordinate and monitor status of customs clearance from the border if by road, cargo airport

for air shipments, and Doha Port for all sea freight cargoes

*Pre-arrange and conduct meeting with subcontractors for break-bulks and

heavy lifts direct deliveries

*Coordinate and prepare delivery plan and schedules to the client for immediate delivery or transfer

of the cargo from port to customer’s sites

*For exportation same coordination, monitoring and control must be apply

*Validated shipping and custom documents for the smooth transfer of the cargo

*Prepared and sent pre-alert to respective agent abroad for the thorough monitoring of the cargo

from time to time

*Negotiated shipping and airline rates and other service provider involving direct shipment or

3PL before the start of the transaction

*For transport operations : Organize and supervise fleet scheduling and transport planning

on a regular basis

*Conduct a regular ocular and personal inspection of all the trucks and made sure that all are in

good working condition

*Make sure that both drivers, operators and their respective fleet are at work

*Follow up and coordinate with the customers and all project sites their fleet requirements and help

them assess base on the volume of shipments

*Consolidate job requirements and schedules on a per day, per week basis or base on the volume

of the requirements on a periodical basis

*Prepare the timetable, schedule and allocations and post it to be visible on board located in the

operations office for the information of everyone concern.

*Immediately dispatch all the drivers, operators and fleet to their respective assignments

*Monitor their movements and whereabouts and make sure that the timeframe are properly

observed and achieved

*Impose penalties or delay charges to customers in the event they have caused the delay

*Immediately respond and resolves truck deliveries and loading problems, road hassles and any

unavoidable circumstances that may hamper the smooth flow of the operations

*Represent the company in dealing with government agencies with regards to the

operations and documentations of the operations

*Make sure that there is no complaints from the customer and that they get the service satisfaction

they are expecting

*Represent the company in marketing the services being offered.
