AL MUQARRAM GROUP – ACCOUNTANT (July 2019 to Present) Al Muqarram Group is a manufacturing group having three companies. Its product line includes Sealants, Waterproofing products, Adhesives, Vehicle Care & Maintenance items, and Aerosol Sprays having market in the G.C.C., Europe, Africa, the Far East, and South Asia as well. During my tenure at Al Muqarram I have been engaged to undertake the following duties:

Monthly Closing of account function ensuring accurate maintenance of accounts in line with IFRS and Group financial policies and procedures.

Understanding the Financial Statements, Analyzing and Reconciling various Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts to see actual trends in order to identify unusual movements and balances.

Preparation, Verification and Posting of journal entries for Prepaid Expenses, Provisions and Accruals.

Updating Fixed Asset Schedule and Prepaid Schedules.

Preparation of Inter-Company Reconciliations and properly maintaining and distribution of group transactions.

Processing Payroll of employees including overseas region, and managing Employees loan and advance, leave salary and gratuity, air tickets and other Benefits/Deductions accounts.

Bank Reconciliations, writing fund transfer letter for Inter Company, Intra Company to Bank and their follow-up.

Receiving & Recording of all cash receipts, PDCs from local sales and foreign receipts from export sales, and sharing SOAs to local customer for follow up.

Recording of all purchases (Local and Imports), preparation of payable aging and processing local payments through cheques on their due dates. Pay for and Monitor Utilities & Telephone services, various annual and quarterly renewals.

Responsible for central Petty Cash Fund, including disbursement, reconciliation, replenishment and deposit;

Preparing Reconciliations for all e-Payments made by HR and Logistics departments using Naqoodi Card, DPW account and other E-Dirham Cards for Legal Purpose, Visa Processing and import legalization & clearing.
