PROJECT: Enterprise Data Management, Chief Data Office
The Chief Data Office is the central team and accountable for the development and implementation of the Enterprise Data Management Strategy, Governance, Policy and supporting standards and guidelines.
My roles and responsibilities included (but not limited to):
Work with different Group Data teams across the organization to implement the Enterprise Data Management Governance and Strategy. Define actions for this implementation and track them.
Lead the working group and other forums to track the Data Governance activities. Collaborating with business to make sure we help them to deliver and support their enterprise activities.
Defining Data metrics and taking accountability that metrics are reported correctly and communicated efficiently to internal and external stakeholders.
Provide guidance and support to business and development teams by removing any kind of bottlenecks for major deliveries. Also work on how new enterprise tools will work within the different groups and how they can be rolled into different business units.
Work with teams across the organization to define the Data Management RoadMap/Operating Model across Data Quality Issue Management, Measure/Monitoring and Data under Governance. Defining KPI’s across these deliverables.

PROJECT: Anti Financial Crime (AFC) Data Jul ‘2018 – Aug ‘2019
The Data team within AFC was set as per Data Strategy, Data Policy and Data Management Maturity Model which underpins how data councils implement Data policy and Data Management capabilities.
My roles and responsibilities included (but not limited to):
Established the Data Quality framework within AFC as part of Data Governance and Data Management Maturity Model. Worked with different business AFC to define key deliverables and get them actioned.
Defined how we should analyse our data and then provide reporting for senior management in AFC and lead the Data working meetings for AFC across Data councils.
Worked with business to identify priority matrix and then making sure they are executed by the development team to implement Data Quality Remediation effort targeted to critical data impacting DB’s surveillance system.
Defining the KPI’s across the Data Quality Issues and operating model in case data issues are cross data council boundaries. This helped us defining accountability within AFC.

PROJECT: Data Quality in Chief Data Office (Deutsche Bank, NYC)
Chief Data Office in Deutsche bank was set up as to establish a solid data governance foundation as part of banks Data strategy and Data policy.
My roles and responsibilities:
Worked with Data Stewards and senior leadership across business areas to define guidance and process across the Data Governance activities within the bank.
Liaised between with the business and technology teams for the Data Governance tooling stack and also gathering the requirement for new tools within this space.
Lead the Metadata working group and worked across business groups to define business rules and how these should be captured and approved.
Worked with Stakeholders across different business groups like Finance, Risk and DFS504 Anti-Money Laundering Policy and Process, Monitoring, and Screening and conducted root cause analysis for data quality issues affecting global business process in different areas within the bank.

PROJECT: Commission Management System (Deutsche Bank, NYC)
Worked on Commission Management system within Global Markets to identify Commission Sharing Arrangement. This project was data centric project as we were getting data from different sources across regions and we worked on transforming this data in a standard format using ETL processes and then displaying it after various CSA calculations.
My roles and responsibilities:
Performed data cleansing and validation on data sets, normalizing data to fit into the operational data mode. Leveraged ETL tools to integrate trade data from various vendor systems globally.
Liaised with business users to identify and gather critical business requirements of the CSA business and provide functionality to meet current and prospective client’s requests.
Re-architected the system to address several inefficiencies with data models, data quality and business functionalities to improve accuracy of client reporting.
